"Your last session of Microsoft Flight Simulator ended unexpectedly" message

This Message appeared after Microsoft Flight Simulator update version 6

I have another problem, I uninstalled Microsoft Flight Simulator.
I reinstalled Microsoft Flight Simulator.
I began the updates and updated the UPDATE 6 in the wrong order.
UPDATE 6 displaying ERROR 3.
I uninstalled Microsoft Flight Simulator.
I reinstalled Microsoft Flight Simulator
I went to the Content Management to Update Microsoft Flight.
It is still Displaying UPDATE 6 ERROR 3.
UPDATE 6 is not downloading and is not installing.

Also Third Party Simulation add-ons purchased from developers websites or marketing websites can be removed the the Community Folder.

Simulation Third Party add-ons purchased from Microsoft Store cannot be removed.

This is with regards to removing Third Party add-ons from the Community folder before applying Microsoft Flight Simulator Updates.

One more problem, The History from the World Map is still there and it never changes.
The same three airports has been there for several months now.
The history has not cleared after reinstalling Microsoft Flight Simulator.

You, my friend, are amazing!! I’ve been wrestling with this all day and this is the ONLY solution I’ve found that has worked for me!! Thank you!

Yep, I check the Windows 10, View Reliability Report every other day to see if I or any other user had a problem while using my PC. And sure enough I get an error with MSFS 2020 and it didn’t crash, it just happens when exiting the program to desktop.

You’re welcome.

Hi, I have solved my problem!
I uninstalled Microsoft Flight Simulator again
I uninstalled Steam from my computer
I deleted remaining associated folders from my hard drive
I reinstalled my Microsoft Flight Simulator BOXED Version
All Fixed Now!!!

I get the message any time I start MSFS with my external monitor attached. MSFS stops and system returns to the desktop. Unplugging my monitor and running from my notebook solves the problem. I’m on the downloaded PC version. Any suggestions?

Hi, After I reinstalled Microsoft Flight Simulator Boxed Version, only two third party add-ons are shoing up after Microsoft Flight Simulator has started. Flyinside Bell 47G and Hypeperformance H135, H145 Helicopter.

This is this the correct location for the Community Folder for the installation of Microsoft Flight Simulator Boxed Version?

Can you tell me how would you understand this ridiculous message.

Observe and think perhaps? Kindly stated and honestly no harm intended. It might help some to not proceed in the mindset as in the form of ā€œridiculousā€, that will most likely guide you in the opposite direction, as of you say to ā€œunderstandā€. That is if you do really wish to understand my message and question to you.

Cheers!

All I did was to close MSFS and reboot after continue is safe mode. WARNING did not come back after re-launch of MSFS. hopefully this will work for you as well…please lemmeno…L

Install old nvidia drivers (471.41) solved the problem for me !

I have the Steam version.
I put a shortcut to the sim on my desktop so I wouldn’t need to open the Steam app.

When I launch from the shortcut, I get the message but when I do it from the Steam app I don’t.

Dunno why…

Unfortunately going back to Nvida Version 471.41 didn’t work for me.
I’m using Steam as well and launching via Steam seams to avoid the crash message indeed.
So till the next MSFS update arrives I’ll launch via steam.

Yup makes no sense, I have since re downloaded and reinstalled the game and the msg has gone away here, except of course when the sim ticks me off and I kill it from task manager.

Hi,

I got Always the following Warning that i dont have close the msfs 2020 right. But i close the msfs 2020 at then gate with ESC the Main Menu then End and Go back to Deskop.

Do you got the same warning at all Time no matter how you have closed the MSFS 2020?

regards Legendsy

I’ve been seeing this as well.
No previous crash, no previous problem.
