[1.6.25.0] - A320/321/330 excessive fuel usage

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

1.6.25.0 has introduced issue with the fuel for Inibulds A320/321/330

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

every time

REPRODUCTION STEPS

  1. load flight and fuel

  2. fly and observe fuel level

  3. fuel levels reduce 2-3 times the normal speed

Tried A320/321/330

Exactly the same issue for me on PC.

I have the same problem. Only checked ini A321.

yeah, it’s kind of annoying that with each new version some bugs disappear but other functions, so far without issues, break.

Landed an A320 yesterday evening with 20kg fuel left, a second after touchdown all systems went black :open_mouth:

1.6.25 in the A330-200GE. 12 hour 50 minute flight from Tokyo Narita to Doha Hamad following the Simbrief OFP flight profile and fuel usage was pretty much exactly right. I did have the use the fuel truck on ATC to be able to refuel using the sim EFB as the usual simbrief sync on the aircraft tablet wasn’t changing the fuel from 50%

I’ve started my flight with exactly the amount of fuel taken from Simbrief.
HOWEVER, one possibility could be that what the aircraft claims to have on board is not what actually is loaded.

At the bottom of the upper ECAM screen it will show you how much fuel you have on board. Check this against what simbrief says. But when you load the payload from the aircraft EFB it looks as though it worked. But when you move onto another tab and then go back to the payload page, you’ll see that the fuel isn’t what it was when you synced it

For reference, the issue @Azlog is referring to: A330 EFB reset fuel quantities after changing tabs

From my experience, at least the ini A20N quite literally uses more than double what it should. Did a Talinn - Oslo route earlier, and according to simbrief i needed around 6 tonnes of fuel. I tried taking double after some issues yesterday, and after taxing to gate, i’ve burned around 8 tonnes. so thats not good now is it lol

Can confirm that A20N is excessively using fuel.

almost didn’t make an hour flight with 5T of fuel on P8 fuel factor

Yeah, i did a Gothenburg to Stockholm today and i was very surprised and confused to see that i had dipped below Minimum take off fuel on taxi, then i monitored fuel onboard and noticed that it is going down super fast

I set a P10 fuel factor on the inibuilds A20N and that seems to get me to my destination with the right amount of fuel

A330 from Vienna to Doha. Ran out of fuel over Baghdad. Loaded with simbrief.

Doesn’t matter where I’m flying or what Simbrief shows, the only fuel I’m consistently getting/showing on ECAM is 9500kg. This has been the same on last two betas.

I’ll just repost my comment from the other thread:

I didn’t fly them since the update, but just by observing the fuel tanks I can see that both the inner and outer wing tanks are feeding the engines at the same time, which is not correct behavior. The outer tanks don’t have feed pumps, they only transfer fuel into the inner tanks once the inner tanks reach certain levels. That might be why the consumption is doubled now. Unbelievable.

ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Fuel usage too high. FL310 it currently uses roughly 12tons per hour, thats much more than the simbrief profile and way way way more than what the MDCU calculates.
i run the clock. starting in cruise again FL310 at 28000kg FOB, after 20 minutes i had 4000kg less. even though fuelflow figures for both engines were showing around 3750kg/hour on the ECAM.

EDIT: also got a WASM Crash when after activating Secondary flightplan.

FREQUENCY OF ISSUE

on current beluga update this (15/11/25)

See related report: Inibuilds Airbus WASM crash

Experiencing this same here with the A330! Burned 64.000kg fuel in 6 hours!

Thats 10.000kg per hour

ECAM shows fuel flow of 90kg/min. So per hour that should be 5400kg.

Fuel flow is now more or less doubled.

How are you loading the fuel? Is it just with the aircraft tablet at the same time as you load the payload from Simbrief? Because this isn’t working correctly. I picked up on this and have been fueling using the sim EFB with a fuel truck connected via ATC panel and that is giving the correct fuel quantity on the upper ECAM screen as well as correct fuel burn
