15 Minutes, CTD - an absolute joke at this point

Hi folks,

I’m closing this topic because there’s already topics regarding CTD’s which you can post in.

I’ve listed a few open topics regrading CTD’s below:

CTDs worse for me after Hotfix 1.18.15.0

After the first tests of hotfix 1.18.15.0, the CTDs introduced with SU5 seem even worse to me. Before SU5 I had no CTDs at all. Still alwas the same cause for CTDs acording to the eventlog: C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\clr.dll. I think I´ll have to take a break from FS2020… Do not want to re-install, but might have to… P.S.: I´m on the boxed version, Windows up to date, Zendesk # #113782 (no response since 30.7.)

Repeated CTD's 1.18.14.0 & 1.18.15.0

Well, the good news is that the sim’s performance is probably smoother and better than it has ever been. The bad news is that the good feeling doesn’t last more than five minutes. I can’t complete a trip of more than ten miles in the Cessna 172 without it crashing to desktop. What a mess. And yes, my Community folder is clean.

It's just not fun anymore

I am writing this as I just crashed out again after my 6th attempt at a short hop flight between KSBN and KPWK. I made that run 3 times in the past week with no issues after an entire weekend spent getting everything “working” again after SU5. I filtered outdated mods from my community folder and updated all my payware, I updated my GPU drivers (noticeably helped btw), and suffered through seemingly endless CTDs and stuck load screens while I got my personal livery mods updated… and then it all …
