2024 Career Mode

try changing your server for msfs to a different region

I can acces career… no problem

Did you find a solution to the passenger issue?
If not I think I have found out why you only get 3 passengers - when you choose the 737, pick the “variant” for passengers and not for business class. Sorry if you aleardy found that out.

career mode is irreparably broken. Asobo must stop trolling players and open all missions to everyone as sandbox immediately.

Today’s trolling list of Asobo:
Time accelerate = “AIRCRAFT CRASHED” message and huge level punishment

Dear Asobo, you can not evaluate us before fix all the problems. I am not a “C” level, you are “D-” level

I confirmed that the 737 was for passengers and purchased it, but the EFB showed a maximum passenger capacity of 3.

Just an update on Career Mode after totally resetting to start from scratch because I lots all my company finances.

The fresh start went well getting my PPL and CPL but then things went downhill fast.

The sim loading time was good but loading into Career Mode took an age. Getting from home screen to the aircraft walk around also was slow, glitchy and the EFB needs some major upgrades and I can’t garantee I’ll even get to fly before a CTD.

Free flight is now starting to get acceptable on SU2 with small GA aircraft but even the stock TBM930 is not working properly.

Sometimes I have some great flights but other times the sim is not fit for purpose and very annoying.

We all know the sim is not in a good place at the moment but the only positive is the potential it brings and if the devs can optimise it the sim could be awesome…

SU2, XboxX, 500mbs broardband….

nice…

after a perfect flight, just before shutdown msfs got me again.

I’m still chipping away in career mode 737 ops and passive earning about 20-30mio per session, eagerly awaiting that heavy airliner cert to unlock from Asobo (SU3?)
The LatinVFR A340 has been upgraded for 2024 in the MP and is career mode ready for when the heavy airliner cert unlocks so we are begininng to see 3rd party aircraft trickle into career mode. The A340 is slated for $130mio in career mode. Would really love to see the Airbus fleet from Inibuilds in career mode especially the A330 as IMO it’s the best default aircraft we have

Be aware, I have learned today you get a ding for entering a cloud. There is a report for this of someone getting one (ding) without clouds anywhere near their plane. So expect this after SU3 downloads.

a ding for entering a cloud in IFR flight? seriously?

The person did not say whether it was IFR or VFR - just a SU3 bug report for getting a ding when they were nowhere near a cloud. So I expect there will be loads of issues with this, just like the Taxiway dings after you have just landed, once the SU3 update is available to all.

I honestly do not know why they constantly try to punish our flights when they can’t even get the correct thing to work. It is seriously annoying being docked rep when you haven’t done anything wrong.

Getting dinged for entering the taxiway after landing exists already in SU2. I have not had a penalty yet for entering a cloud in VFR in SU2

No it is in SU3 at the moment. I am trying to warn others it may become a thing once we all get that version.

They’re supposed to be fixing broken features, not introducing new ones.

Followed the flightplan msfs 2024 advised. Hot dingen for enterjng prohibited airspace. How can i avoid this next time?

ah, my sweet summer child. that’s not how development works.

You have to check your route on the flight planner

But how can i see that i enter prohibited airspace? Is it somewhere?

They are usually marked in red, lighter red not the darker one, so you literally need to scroll in to the map to see where the red squares or circles are and track along your route. Little nav map also shows the same if you use that. You need to check before you take off or you will need to change your route slightly mid-flight.

Think I metioned it before… you can check it in the free flightplanner ( Flight Planner ) Much more clear than in your efb.
