I do not know how to link did it work??
Should the type of plane matter for medium cargo jobs as a freelancer? As long as your plane meets the criteria you should be allowed to use it. For light cargo missions my Cessna 172 picks up all the light cargo missions. Or perhaps they’re plentiful for the 172 as you mentioned. I didn’t know there was a specific plane needed.
Only the planes that were made for Career mode will work in Career mode. I only know of three planes that work in Medium Cargo. PC24, C408, 208B.
Cannot figure out how to link keeps giving me errors. Did you get it.? Have you found the report.?
The type should not matter to us but the payout system is linked to type I think - or some other parameter according to which aircraft you fly which could be payload. i.e. How much cargo you can haul from A to B. I am just guessing here but it is a likely restriction.
The UI has been oddly thought out in this game and the whole mode needs revision!
Got it thanks and voted - I just hope it is not joined up to some other report which disappears into the bottom of the bug pile since there are so many for Career that never seem to get a look in!
The missions generator has been broken since SU5.1 now what is it a month has passed and they have said nothing
They either don’t play the career mode or don’t care, id say both. All it needs is some attention and a server side hotfix, probably 48hrs maximum of time.
Here we are with a total lack of missions, broken filters etc etc for over 1 month
What did I miss re: broken filters?
Use filters any filter, for example passenger airlines only and I will see only maximum 5 missions any airport including big ones like JFK, London, LAX that should show 30+ passenger missions
So to me, filter not showing all missions
So, here is an update. I did submit a help ticket and this was the reply.
“We are aware of this issue and the developers are currently investigating it. Once a fix is ready, it will be included in a corrective patch.”
I don’t consider that a “filter” bug unless not using the filter shows more missions. I’d rather not distract the developers with bugs that aren’t there and keep them focused on the fact that the missions aren’t showing up regardless of filters or not.
If there were previously at least 15 missions per airport that had them and now regularly only 5, what do you call it?
A bug where missions aren’t being generated. A “filter” bug implies that the missions ARE generated, but disappear only when certain filters are applied. As far as I know, that’s not the case.
If you look around the forum, folks were regularly chatting about particular airports that had a ton of missions for airliners. They are now reporting only 5 choices in those same airports. Is that a bug or a regression?
There is nowhere to question a regression.
If a feature worked before and now doesn’t I would consider that a regression - however there’s no real distinction between the two when it comes to reporting on these forums. A regression is reported as a bug, just maybe with the indication within the report that it’s a regression.
Regression? Bug? Or a change to the game economy to increase the grind? I would just like to know what direction they plan to take with this mode. It’s becoming easier to play a Souls game ![]()
From a consumer point of view, regressions, error-prone features, and bugs are all distinctions without a difference.
Yep, so long as it’s being reported, it’s on MS/Asobo to more-specifically categorize it.
Folks are correct that there is no specific place for reporting regressions vs. new bugs on these forums, such as Bugs-New & Bugs-Regressions, or BetaBugs-New & BetaBugs-Regressions.

If the user is on the release build, then all issues should be reported in the appropriate category of the Bug Reporting Hub , irrespective of whether the issue is brand-new or appears to be a regression from a previously released build. If the user thinks the bug is a regession, they can mention that in their comments about the issue.

If the user is on a beta build, then only new bugs or regressions from the current release build should be reported in the appropriate bug category of the beta build (e.g. in Sim Update 6 Beta | MSFS 2024 at the time of this post).
Repros of bugs that exist in the current release build should be reported in the Bug Reporting Hub
