We get a bit of gorse mixed up in our general forest here too as well as small Wilding pines,
And those red flower trees are called pohutukawa trees and flower for a relatively short period in summer, lovely but leave an impressive mess afterwards. Would be nice to have them dotted around,though not all of them flower so vividly a lot of trees just have grey green foliage or duller blooms.
If you can be careful about seasons when the flowers are out, this will be great.
Actually as a general request I’d really appreciate a script that automatically sets and loads seasons globally.

I already have that tool via the software to install season. There is a auto season button, that changes seasons at beginning of each season.
Yes, I downloaded it but I think you need to change it every time you go from north hemisphere to south…?
I did have multi seasons (spring in northern hemisphere and fall in southern hemisphere or vice versa for all 4 seasons). But I had to remove the due to compatibility issues with other airport mods.

Hi Bijan, I know this may sound ridiculous, but could you please make a version without the LOD improvement? As much as I love the lod improvement, I find it can be too stressful for my system especially after sim update 3, and simply turning tree slider to high or medium wouldn’t fix the issue.
Of course I believe when Asobo fix the stutter issue I will be enjoying the full beauty of your work.
While I certainly do want to help the developer with proper compensation, I wonder:
1.) Will seasons ever be part of the base sim?
2.) Could this pack ever be sold through the marketplace?
One of my goals with this sim is simplicity and to not have add ons all over the PC that need to be kept up-to-date. However, a lack of seasons is certainly an issue and the work here looks wonderful.
1: yes, it’s in Asobo’s plans for 2021.
Asobo is planning this year to add seasons. However for me personally the biggest impact of this add-on isn’t the seasons but the massive changes to the species of vegetation. You don’t realize how important it is until you fly your first low level vfr flight and the trees are slightly different shades of green and there are different species of different sizes, which are largely accurate to the area of the world and climate. If I had to wipe all my mods and add-ons and only keep one, this is the one I keep as it has the largest impact on the atmosphere and visual fidelity of the sim in my opinion.
Good info. I typically fly low and slow. So, this may be one to go with despite my desire for simplicity in the new sim.

Two good questions. They did mention in sim log that they “started”. I don’t know how it will work though.
I ask these myself many times:
- Will it work with my new rebuilt ecosystem?
- Will they just use shaders like they did with snow on trees?
- Will they do it the same way as I did?
- How will they do seasons if they don’t fix photogrammetry trees that are always green and it’s part of the mesh?
- And how will they do seasons if they don’t provide a new terrain textures for fall and winter?
