What version of Flow are you using?
We are aware of an issue with the Essentials version that will be fixed in the next update.
Thanks. Yes I have the most recent version of Essentials available on Orbx Central.
That’s what it is. We’ll have an update out for this in the coming days.
Question:
Is there any (accessable) LVar to toggle Nameplates for friends only and for all?
My Flow opens in the center of the monitor, I thought it was suppose to open whereever the mouse cursor was? Any help appreciated! Thanks guys!
That was a new option added in the recent update so it sounds like that had been ticked on. Go into the options (too right) and there is a switch for it there.
Was hoping for it to come to xbox this week, soon hopefully…
is there a list of available scriptable parameters somewhere?
And how do you close an overlay window. Can’t get rid of them anymore, no obvious way to close them.
Documentation is available here: Flow Scripting Documentation
You can generally close HUDs by clicking on its instance in the Wheel. It depends how the HUD was designed by its creator.
I was hoping - I misread the advertisement that way before purchase apparently - that I could display variables (e.g. vertical speed and air speed for landing excercises) in transparent overlay windows with the Pro version, but no such variables are to be found through the interface. I only got fuel amount, and then couldn’t close that overlay anymore. Also not by clicking on the button again as you suggest. Also it wasn’t transparent.
“ * HUDs or Heads Up Display Widgets show data overlays directly in-sim. These include Control Inputs, Outside Forces, & Wind. Let viewers see the work it takes to land an aircraft!‘
This… thought it can display what Axis and Ohhs can. Apparently not.
Nothing prevents you from requesting a widget that does that on our Discord Server… not a huge project to accomplish.
Maybe that’s what you’re after… We’re currently working on a HUD that will display various datapoints like this:

something like that, yes! will it be configurable?
Don’t see vertical speed there, but probably no problem to include that.
I had something like this by “JayDee” in mind. Within Flow Pro, no need for AAO.
With the user able to layout (text size, different colors for certain parameter ranges, e.g. VS green, yellow and red range, by color of text) and with transparent background

It’s still early to say how far the configuration will go but you will be able to choose what you see from an array of variables.
We’ll be open to adding more if needed, obviously.
This Wheel is very nice.
Is it possible to use my favorite Camviews to Whidgets in the Wheel?
Or is it possible to drop the Wheel or Camlist on second Screen?
Not at this time but I’ll add that to my list of things to do!
Would be GREAT to be able to park the wheel on a 2nd screen!
We’re waiting for Asobo to fix an issue with popout panels before enabling a popoutable Flow panel.
Just came across this addon and went from “free” to “essential” to “pro” in one day . Highly underrated Addon which I can absolutely recommend.
