I have a bunch of addons, and many of them dont really give you much info on where they are on the “map” so to speak, feel like its hit or miss trying to find them, ones off flightsim.to
Its my understanding poi info wont show on a map unless the developer adds it.
But in case im missing a shortcut tool out there, any others that could help pinpoint where in the literal world some of them are/changing things?
I think the closest i saw might be “hurry porter”, but thats an external app
For instance, i downloaded a ton of addons for norway (a large percentage dont seem to show up in msfs 2024 too), i tried the one poi addon for norway but many of these arent on the map even after that.
Do you mean third party scenery addons? POI type of stuff, not airports?
Have you tried Little Nav Map? You can import customs markers for a lot of that stuff or make your own if you have the coordinates.
Sky4Sim has the official POI’s (although currently the creator has not added the stuff from the last 2 or 3 city and world updates sadly). I’ve found it useful for locating the POIs without using the in game blue flag things.
Yeah, 3rd party poi’s that point to 3rd party addons, whether they be city regions, airports, buildings (landmarks etc)
I did import one list into littlenav map but havent had a chance to figure it out (first time in there, shockingly even to myself lol, behind the times).
Probably not what you are looking for but, just for info, if you use Addons Linker you should be able to see your addons automatically on the map and then you can teleport near them by right cliking on their location directly over the map and selecting the option ‘move aircraft here’. LNM is obviously a fantastic and far better map program but it’s just an alternative idea if you already use AL and don’t want to import things manually.
