I experience ghosting with an AMD RX7900XTX too, using TAA, no DLSS of course and FSR. Not only in MSFS, but in other sims too. I used to get it better by activating AMD Fluid Motion frames in the adrenaline software and TAA and FSR3 in FS. The FPS goes up (from 30 without to 100 with
), and the ghosting is still there, but limited.
Hello is there any news on the update on fenix aircraft fos MSFS 2024 ? I can not wait !!! ![]()
Uhm, Fenix already works fine in MSFS2024. Actually it was one of the first airliners made compatible…
Yes you are absolutely right ! ![]()
But, I have the feeling that it is very resource consuming on msfs 24, and i hope some kind of optimization with the update tey announce a couple of weeks ago ![]()
I’m holding off on purchasing the base plane (A320) until it’s been optimized for '24 and/or has weather radar. Or, I just might wait for the Neo.
Ok, you were talking about that BFU then. AFAIK nobody knows when that will be released.
I think that msfs 2024 is very resource consuming on itself. Especially V-RAM.
Ah, it’s grand to be back!
Been out of the game for several months due to PC and then repairing issues.
It’s SO good to be back in the Fenix, even in 2020 ![]()
The Fenix kind of works in fs24 but performance isn’t great and it’s not compatible with my Logitech joystick. Constantly says null zone warning and then shuts off my AP and noses down every 5 minutes. Super annoying.
A very ‘noisy’ peripheral then.
I had that with my HC Alpha and it was super annoying as the excessive ’travel’ and noise cause the AP to go off regularly too.
I’m using a TB VF1 (I do a lot of GA) and it’s quite stable on this bird.
I fly the Fenix with the same Logitech joystick in fs2020 mainly and have zero issues. It’s just in fs24. I’ve tested about 5 different flights and happens constantly every flight. Go back to fs2020 and no issues with the Fenix and the same joystick. Makes me think it’s an fs24 compatibility issue that Fenix needs to work out
I flew the Fenix in 2020 and 2024. Zero issues in 2024 except for a couple of very minor ones (the moving map being the biggest). No performance issues and if you are having joystick issues, it’s more than likely due to your hardware, not the sim.
All that said, where is the BFU???
No this happens in cruise when FPS are good in FS24, not just at low level and high detailed airports. Again, does not happen in FS20 with ultra settings. I have a fairly high performance gaming PC. If you do not have the same Logitech joystick I do then I’m not sure your qualified to dismiss my issues as hardware related. Seems to me to be an issue with FS24 and the joystick or Fenix’s compatibility with the joystick in fs24.
The issue is that your joystick is a very common piece of hardware and yet I don’t think I’ve seen any other posts with complaints about it either here on the Fenix forum or more generally regarding it’s incompatibility wtih FS2024 in general. Solely based on that, it seems rather logical that the issue with your joystick or your PC. Good luck…
Is anyone else lately having the message “Invalid flightplan” appear on the MCDU?
For example, today I wanted to fly EHAM-GCTS via KUD3SY WOODY N872 MEDIL UN872 ERIGA FUJTI BAKUP BATAX GANSU BEXAL UN866 KONBA KONB1Z.
I haven’t had this problem (unless I went to non-touristy polar airfields) before the past month or so. I’m using the free version of Simbrief (AIRAC 2403).
Fenix is probably still using 2303 navdata, check what MCDU is showing.
Wrong topic mate.
haha yes i see
I’ve updated the AIRAC of the Fenix, but no dice ![]()
EDIT: It seems the nav data base in the A321 remains “23MAR23-19APR23” whatever I do. I’ll open a support ticket with Fenix.
Wildly inaccurate
