Might have to play around a bit more with the walkaround ground-crew type elements, especially in learning how they interface with the Fenix EFB’s options such as opening doors, etc. Example: beginning the process of opening the cargo door (so it’s in its gravity-hanging state) without yellow hydraulic pressure results in inability to use the EFB to open/close the door at all. Unless I’m missing something easy, I’ll bet some updates are in order to make sure you don’t get stuck in a loop on some of these things if you get the order of operations incorrect.
I use Spad.Next extensively, both creating and consuming the large library of shared code snippets, and I will say Spad is not for the faint of heart. That said, I’ll be curious as to what has changed for my current Fenix profile.
Had a disaster of a first flight, the refresh rate of the screens seems to be incredibly slow? Shot up from 100knots to 160knots instantly when taking off.(set to high in sim)
Wingflex no longer seen on the ground so they don’t move at all during taxi or take off
Sounds don’t seem as good to me
Performance in 2020 is way better for me than in 2024, with about 1.5Gb less VRAM usage.
It’s a pleasure to fly in 2020 but I feel like my system is teetering on the edge in 2024 - and the sim scenery doesn’t seem to look as good either.

Try the advice on this article https://support.fenixsim.com/hc/en-us/articles/13358535673103-Displays-lagging-stuttering
Just had a quick go but couldn’t get the heading to hold in AP. Keeps turning the aircraft to the right. Am I missing something simple here?
Running msfs2024 with Sim Update 2 here (no beta!) “The BFU-Update” tanked my FPS. I went from stable 60fps with the “experimental build” to 45fps. Switching from inside to outside view gives me micro stutters (never happened before the update) Did a complete clean reinstall of the installer including livery’s and config. I also deleted Fenix directory on my c: drive plus WASM folder. On my system it’s impossible now to reach 60fps anymore.

As above, I’m seeing on their Discord that this article may help with FPS and/or displays lagging https://support.fenixsim.com/hc/en-us/articles/13358535673103-Displays-lagging-stuttering as with everything like this, YMMV
Update is installed, a few minor issues but I’m working through them. One thing I noted is that the weather radar panel still has an “INOP” sticker on it and try as I might, I can’t seem to get the weather radar to display anything. Am I missing something here?
No INOP in mine, flying the Baby Shark right now. Maybe something didn’t update? Check your version in the Fenix app when running. I’m at 2.4.0.1986
Does anyone know how to stop the “Company message” appearing in the ECAM?
And does the weather radar work in FS220?
TY
Turn off ‘USE ALTERNATIVE DISPLAY RENDERER’ in the Fenix app. This setting caused the Inop im my case
I had WASM crash on descent. All screens are freezes, can’t finish fly A320, FS24
By going outside the aircraft and reaching the cargo door switch under it,my airplane suddenly crashed.
I did it again, and it crashed again.
I saw that it was a litle bit jumping on the ground (just a little bit)…
It could be a caculation of the ground issue, when walking around the plane, I don’t know.
Read the messages in the MCDU! It’s usually the company loadsheets that get sent prior to your flight.
On a performance side… Well it is as heavily demanding on my 3070ti as the previous version… So at the moment it does not fit with big airports…
I feel that we HAVE TO set the display refresh rate on “high” in the simulator, other wise the instrumention is going nuts. (As one of you described before)
And there is a big impact of the “off screen precaching”… I have better performance in flight (no stutters) with it set to high, but big stutters at landing at airports, and if i set it to medium, less stutters at airports, but stutters in flight and when panning. The vram consumption is better with it set to medium.
Well, It is not a fenix problem, so I m not in the good thread.
But just to say, for me, the performances are equal to the previous version in MSFS 24.
But thanks to the Fenix team, when MSFS will be optimized, this airplane will be the best ever made on the Sim !
Thanks yeah, I wasn’t sure if there was a setting or some way to stop them popping up.
The volume of the engines in the exterior view is much too low on my system. Much lower than other planes. Is there a way to turn it up?
Winwing have updated their simapppro. FCU and MCDU now work with the BFU.
