I for the life of me cant find this ModelConfiguration.ini
I go through the above path and the other path in Roaming…
The Local state path, I go into work and it’s full of not openable files, not the ones that have a notepad option, just the blank white page one with numbers… No modelconfig named ones…
Where is the next place to try this as I love flying it, just through time constraints, I’m missing the sim rate dearly
Hi, I believe the “ModelConfiguration.ini” file is not there by default. You need to create one (you can use Notepad) with the contents above, and save it in this location.
Please try that.
Thank you so much for that!!! I have never done something like that before, a wee bit exciting… A little nervous thinking I was about to create some godawful virus and completely kill the game!!!
Edit update
OMG That has just made me addictive all over again with this aircraft and the game!!! haven’t flown this aircraft for a long long time as a result of the simrate limitation but this has just made my limited time I get now that more enjoyable!!
I know the simrate is to many… “Hi my name is… I am a al…”
Basically an embarrassing subject to bring up… but for many… It opens so much opportunity within the game for those who have commitments, families or a un-supportive partner as you do an actual… 1 1/2 hour flight now can be done in like 30 minutes…
Sim-rate opens up these realistic aircraft and realistic routes but in the fraction of the time!!
Glad it worked, we must all thank the amazing FBW devs for their awesome job.
I am also flying-time limited, so I take advantage of sim rate acceleration for most of my flights.
This is still not working. I spend like 3 hours trying to remap unmap map keybondings, and now I read it is limited by performace (I have 60FPS on my 60HZ monitor stable), or by aircraft type? At least some error message would be nice, so that I know the problem is not with the keybondings.
Sim Rate wors for me only when I enable Developer mode.
