ISSUE DESCRIPTION
Description of the issue:
SU 5 v1.7.6.0 / A330-300 RR
- When Sim Rate is at 1x speed (normal speed), fuel burn is also at 1x speed as expected.
- But when Sim Rate is increased to 2x or 4x speed, fuel burn remains at 1x speed, burning only 50% or 25% of the amount expected.
- On long haul flights where Sim Rate is used, the fuel burned is less than expected, leading to incorrect expected landing weights.
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
How often does this occur for you (Example: Just once, every time on sim load, intermittently)?
Every time.
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
-
Create and load a flight plan for the A330 using Simbrief, note the expected fuel burn.
-
Take note of the UTC time on the dashboard, and Start the Chronos,
-
Take Off, and remain at 1x speed until cruise and pass a waypoint or 2.
-
Compare fuel burn in the plane, to what is predicted by Simbrief at that waypoint… it will be similar and close enough.
-
Then increase Sim Rate 2x or 4x and fly past a few more waypoints.
-
Observe how the fuel burned is much less than expected. Also compare at landing. The longer you use Sim Rate, the larger the discrepancy grows.
-
Also notice the Chronos vs the UTC time… UTC time kept pace with Sim Rate increases and decreases, so the expected amount of time passed. But the Chrono (recording duration) will be much less, because it remained at 1x time).
