Why even have a logbook in this flight sim if you can not edit it and remove useless flights that were either a pattern or just the sim crashed and you had to start over again? All flights should be able to be removed. Oooh If I could say what I really want to say about the whole logbook issue, I would probably be kicked off this forum forever.

It’s kinda random if your Take-Off’s and Landings get noted in the Logbook. I just did a Flight from Budapest to Zurich with the A-320 and did Take-Off and landed like i always did. And no Take-Off and Landing was logged on the Flight. The Logbook somehow is absolute worthless in this Sim

Indeed, this feature would be great! I have a lot of entries in my flight log that are incomplete flights, and I desperately want to delete them. 
I am afraid this feature is unlikely to be introduced to MSFS ever. You will have 50GB patches and updates but unable to change anything on logbook. Maybe this entire conversation is irrelevant as nobody is doing anything about it.

The one thing I’m surprised by is that no 3rd Party software writer/company has come up with an alternative. I would be willing to pay a small fee for a bit of kit that would allow us to record what we needed…

I think because also the logbook is linked to cloud services so it’s more difficult, but that is my guess…
And helicopter take-off and landings are not counted. Would be nice to edit that as well.

It would be nice to be able to export your logbook. That way one can import it into a Universal logbook app, especially if you fly in other sims as well.

We definitely need this feature cuz a lot of simmers like me are having another issue with the logbook which is the 16MB size limit issue.
If you flew too many flights your logbook will be filled to 16MB and then the game will stop recording your flights and your hours will be stuck at the number when you hit that 16MB size limit.

Since the log book is just lines of text, my guess is that you need to have at least 1.000.000 entries before you get anyway near that 16mb limit…
I’m no expert on this, so I might of course be wrong.
Can somebody post a link to the location where this topic is listed on a whish list. So many changes, updates etc and such a “small” thing is still waiting to be fixed.

I agree BUT, perhaps we could do it a bit differently. If a person is using a career path, then perhaps an entry is an entry. On the other hand, how many of us use something that MS has provided (such as a landing challenge, or a discovery flight) where you start in the air rather than a realistic flight from ground to ground. In those cases, as in any non-career flight, could we not have a closing option that asks if we want to log, Yes or No? I’m also a bit disappoint with the log book design as compared to my own personal logbook. Have the option to add categories like Multi, Jet, Turbo, Sea, PIC.

I voted because I’m just setting up my sim and doing landing challenge and it’s a bit ridiculous to see lot of 5 minutes flight in my pilot logbook.
As a workaround you can use fshub.
It saves all of your flights including its details and you can delete flights as well.
Very handy.

… so update after update … new releases and all the perks but nothing about fixing a logbook. Seriously why this is being continuously ignored. What is the hold up here ??? Can anybody explain what is going on.
