Never noticed this issue. Check your the others mods (remove it one by one from Community folder) and check how it looks.
That is another mod messing them up. It is most likely the Heavy Division 787 improvement mod or the freeware Mirage mod. I may have the mod names wrong.
More like, pointing straight UP, since the inside of the wheel wells are well lit but nothing else. It’s like the sim keeps the lights in the retracted position even when the gear is extended.
In the real aircraft the APU was on for the flight. It idles down after takeoff. And it can use the bleed air from the APU to run the generator and hydro pumps in case of and engine failure.
Thank you for confirming this. I never found a clear answer in the flight manual, it only ever mentions turning it on and then turning it off in the shutdown checklists
Also it did have a parking brake. It was a toggle switch it was to the right of the APU switch. It was held up electronically and released when the engines were at 75%.
In the sim the antennas that extend when you extend the tacan antenna, those are the upper and lower UHF antennas. The ILS/LOC antennas extend out the sides behind the canopy. I it circled where they were, and are on both sides.

Any sign of hope on this issue? Unfortunately, SU12 did not bring any improvement on the landing behaviour of fly-by-wire-aircraft.
The parking brake was a later addition to some aircraft. And I’m not sure what you are trying to say about the antenna? The one you circled are the LOC antenna, and that’s the switch that moves them in game.
Haven’t tested if it was fixed in SU12, last update I got about the bug that causes it was in January, but I have to change an aircraft setting and release an update to fix it anyway, probably was that the setting was causing a CTD. So hopefully the CTD is fixed.

All the ones I worked on had the parking brake there. I was only referring to the manual that said they didn’t have a parking braking.
I didn’t notice the antennas in the sim. I might of missed that.
Any plans on updating the auto pilot and adding GPS. The real thing had better autopilot, with auto throttles. It also had a different hud and cdu.
I just downloaded the pm50 gtn750. It kinda works. Nav hold will follow the gps path. Looks like you can use it to crate a autopilot panel.
Again, the autothrottle came with the OCIP upgrade, along with the different HUD, UFC, MFDs, CDU and parking brake among other things.
The one I’ve modelled is a pre OCIP aircraft, which doesn’t have these luxuries.
