We aren’t planning on selling this at all and dealing with the headache around getting this on the marketplace, no.
Glad to hear you’re still working hard to get this aircraft in our hands.
I don’t know how (or why) freeware devs do it. I for one truly appreciate the labor of love. I hope you have a plan to accept donations. If this thing is half as amazing as it looks, you’ll get one from me.
Can’t wait the fly this plane
Not that I want to add to work loads and plans, because I think this is an awesome project, do we know if there is any plans to bring this model out to MSFS2024?
agreed i hope its better than the tfdi md11
hey i have 2 questions for you
do you have anny idea when we could expect a potential release? cant wait for a good dc10 in the game!
and will you be adding a cheklist to the plane to help users out that dont have experience with a dc10?
I thought that was considered one the premier models available.
We still don’t know when we expect release, and even then, we will only suggest roughly. We will never provide a release date until it is ready for release, which at that point the announced date would likely be less than a week away from the announcement.
Don’t count on it being better than the TFDi MD-11 and is this project still a thing or vaporware like many projects announced before. These project cost money being open source just like Fly By Wire who get considerable donations but do to life (work, family and other things) progress moves slowly or if they even move at all.
Is there any progress update about this bird?
I was wondering why Aero Dynamics are so quite.
Nevermind.
Well, sadly, nothing more has been heard about this great project! And I honestly don’t know why I can’t get on Discord. (Has anyone heard anything?)
Analyzing the screenshots, the project looks super complete and advanced, almost functional (maybe not all the systems, but if they’re not renders, it flies in MSFS).
Let’s face it, most abandoned projects are always in very early stages, and in my opinion, this one is quite advanced, so for me it would be a disaster if it were abandoned.
Seeing that this was initially a free project, with the quality of what’s seen, I wouldn’t mind if it became a paid project… (SkySim published an expensive, unfinished DC-9).
