Inibuilds and they confirmed the wheels will be rounded.
Good to know that
OMG what is with obsession with wheels?
That is part of aircraft that we will look least amount of time during play/flight.
The obsession is with a well-made product, not with wheels. And this aerosoft is not a well-made product.
I’ll hold judgement until it’s released and we know more about the flight model, performance and system depth. Sure the 3D model looks a little clunky, but the texturing and stencils look decent enough, and it includes the NEO.
Guys, thoses images are WIP, not the final product. Don’t you think it can be improved before lauch ? Low plygon is a good time keeper when compiling for tests. I can’t imagine the final version to have octogons on the wheels. Their aircraft for P3D were very good !
Tbf they released the twotter with similar issues and never fixed them. This is just their standard of work.
The crj is ok but also, abandoned. Idk how anyone thinks they’ll get something different from AS this time around
DECEMBER 2021: “things are going well, we have three people on the modeling and three on the systems.”
APRIL 2023: “Modeling, texturing, and almost all animations are solid. No worries about that. In fact, Stefan and Anne are already working on the next bus.”
I have a hard time seeing how the wheels could possibly still be WIP at this time.
Nah … impossible the are working on A330 wheels !
They have full teams working on 3.5 year old CRJ bugs that will be solved tomorrow… eeeeeh day after … eeeeeh end of the week …. eeeh this year …… eeeeh someday !!
It’s not about the wheels themselves but looking at such details is a good indicator of the overall effort and quality of an add-on. As such, it looks like this rendition of the A330 is not shaping up to be high quality. Also, there’s the developer’s pedigree to consider.
Key sentence…
Inibuilds a330 will be a default msfs 2024…
Aerosoft A330 will be a paid product…
When you compare what you got with aerosofts main products vs inibuilds… It’s night and day
At the end of the day…
Aerosoft has done absolutely no favors for a very tight knit dedicated hobby community.
A amazing community that supports each other and spends countless hours trying to fix various issues and defaults for free, in their own time and while many many other developers embrace and even add those fixes to their respective products…
These guys will take those every day people to court…
They have actually done absolutely very little with any other their main products, ripped the absolute hole out of everyone’s wallet when it came to the crj..
To really rub salt in our wounds… The twotter which many of us spent 50 odd on…It’s now effectively going to be free…
Their customer service has been anything but customer service and above as well as their respective products threads on this site is the brutal honesty on what a big percentage of those posters feels towards aerosoft…
Look…
To give credit where credit is due… If aerosoft came out with an amazing product that exceeds expectations and there are awesome reviews… Considering inibuilds will be free… I might consider it… Pending on my financial situation… But…
I’ll definitely wouldn’t be rushing out buying it and will definitely wait for a sale and or reviews…
Ini for me. It’s free and included. Good enough
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Aerosoft has dropped the ball tremendously for me, and has fallen from being “hey these guys are pretty cool!” after the CRJ first came out to “Ugh Aerosoft” - I don’t trust these guys as far as I can throw them.
If their A330 ever comes out AND is actually good, then I’ll still wait at least 6 months if not longer to see how well they support the thing before I even consider buying it. And it will have to be a LOT better than the default A330 too.
Fun game: every once in a while, open the Aerosoft One app and check the Updates tab. It is ALWAYS empty.
“open up the app to see if there is a update and it’s empty…”
I do the exact same thing too!!! I get a little butterfly in my tummy when I see one but it’s always one of the products I brought through their shop
But exactly mate…
I loved the crj and still get it out from time to time, it’s just an absolute crying shame that they have not fixed any of their problems, holds, implementing the weather radar and some of their bezzar click spots/mouse interactions, that I see have plagued the ATR.. Just simple thing like not being able to hold and drag when you are setting the DH/MDA…
With all of their competitors working the long hard hours implementing fixes and what not… Aerosoft…
Their guys must be enjoying the Bahamas or something I know what they are doing.. Enjoying tax payers money
I laugh but I’d be absolutely livid if I was a German tax payer and knowing these guys took out a, you know subsidy/grant …???
Then in seriousness… What happened with the twrotter and all…
They could have had one more “grab and run” mugged me of my money one last had they released their A330…, but with inibuilds, not exactly a top top top developer, their products seem to run a little laggy on my system and all.. But wow.. They are just simply streets ahead and offering a free A330…
It would have to take an exceptional Aerosoft A330 product along with fixes coming with the crj before I’d ever ever put in my credit card details ever again into Aerosoft…
In all fairness, Microsoft is giving you the A330 at no additional charge in MSFS2024, not iniBuilds who most certainly have some form of deal with MS to provide the plane to them. Same thing as Aerosoft providing the Twotter for MSFS2024.
Never an aerosoft product anymore.
Horrible support… horrible arrogance forum moderation… where mr. MK promoted bugs as features … horrible
No update on the CRJ bugs since day one
So why should we be confident with the A330
Bad to see a former well respected company be brought down by arrogance and grabbing behaviour
Actually…
It’s Inibuilds that are making the A330, Asobo might have brought the rights to the distribution…
But inibuilds are still the developer at the end of the day… They are still credited to developing the aircraft not asosbo…
It’s like John deacon writing ‘another one bites the dust…’ Yes, queen is a band that performed it but it is John deacon that gets the song writing credit and he is the one that gets the majority of the royalty from that song Or Sony buying the entire Queen catalog.. It’s still Queen…
Also…
They still perform updates under asobos request…
Especially inibuilds as they are generally great developers and genuinely have the customers needs at their full front of their minds and have tried and true support…
Unlike Aerosoft that…
As I said though…
If aerosoft somehow pull something amazing out of the bag with the A330…
I’ll possibly buy the A330… Only… Only if Hans dose justice to the pending atr update and they update the crj along with providing an exceptional ‘now free’ Twotter…
But…, their track record in providing support…
I’m not holding my breath and like what many have said, the time it has taken to make the A330 and for another competitor coming in… They certainly have left this one far to late…
Then…, what if a sim update breaks it…
To the best of my knowledge, there are two A330 currently in development for MS2024. One by iniBuilds, contracted by Asobo, to be included as one of the default aircraft in MS2024. The other one developed by Asobo as own product to be sold as an addon for MS2024.
I might be wrong but I think inibuilds is in partnership with Asobo so that A330 is a singler project.
The Aerosoft project is now a meme, it turned the curve from sad to funny.
There is another A330 in development, but they have been silent for 2 years now. I’m referring to FSLabs. If that A330 they announced for MSFS is as good as their A320 for Prepar3D, we can be talking about an A330 with the same quality as the Fenix. But they keep in silence since their announce.
