Don’t over-estimate the volume of a customer base solely on the number of posts by a few hundred complainers on a flight sim forum. It’s been years and we still don’t have an objectively REALLY GOOD Twotter.
Gotta wonder what politics went on behind the curtain with this mess.
Don’t worry Scoob, NextGen are still working on their Saab S340 for FS20 and FS24 even though they had no idea that an S340 would be a default FS24 plane. They’ve just updated their E110 Bandeirante for FS24 too, that’s pretty darn quick by any standard.
Works for me, and is better than the ‘new’ one.
I just copied the whole folder from FS20 community to FS24.
So… MSFS2024 was not retaining the custom ‘community’ folder location hence only some things appearing there. 
I have given in to the machine and will allow it to keep its preferred choice (though not as advertised in settings) and point addons linker there. 
I moved mine, and you can place it anywhere you like. I used to have 2020 installed in “D:\Flight Simulator” so I moved the 2024 Community folder into “D:\Flight Simulator\Community”.
I did, and it was working for a while, now it reverted back to the default location and won’t let me change again. I can select the custom location and ‘save’ it however it then reverts immediately to default..
I’ll try again in a while as I can sym link with Addons Linker, it’s an annoyance rather than an issue of disk space.
I had that and then manually had to change it in the configuration files of the sim, now it is staying at the custom location for me.
That is what I did. Changed the config file. But after a sim update it reverted back to the default location.
I didn’t realize untill I ran an installed for one of my sceneries, and didn’t see it in the custom “Community” folder location.
I looked in the default location, and there it was.
Then I opened the config file and saw that it had reverted the path to the default location.
So, going forward, I will check the config file after each sim update.
I contacted Aerosoft and asked if the Aerosoft version of the twin otter would populate to 2024 accounts.
They told me that the twin otter is now property of Microsoft and that it’s not going to happen. It seems that by purchasing the marketplace version I received an inferior product. This is a hard-learned lesson that makes me less likely to purchase directly from marketplaces in the future.
I reinstalled this in 2020, and I find it very good in retrospect. If you did purchase it on the Marketplace in 2020, it should be there.
MS took over the Aerosoft DHC6 and it is included in MSFS2024 (the Deluxe version, anyway). Tried to taxi it and wings touch the ground even on mild turns. Something else that needs to be fixed.
I don’t think MS took it over per se; the developer creditted in the documentation is the same dev that produced the original, but they also produced the fw200 for the LL program, i think the dev just went solo from aerosoft.
I remember when I first tried the microsoft version I made a tight turn onto a grass runway and thought the entire aircraft was going to flip over. 
The FW200 was made by Oliver Moser and Inibuilds actually.

Mostly because making liveries has become much harder in 2024, and the userbase isn’t there yet for it.
If you still have your Community/ version of the Aerosoft Twotter, and maybe even some fond memories of its predecessor for FSX/P3D, you might find my attempt at a recreation worth checking out:
Works best with SU5.
It doesn’t appear to work with the Marketplace version. I don’t think there’s anything I can do about that.
