Lisboa. But even Auto pilot dont work well.. i started with A320 on in runway and pfff..impossible do something now..just lets return to old version, where we could fly well…how long we have to wait for a fix now…days? weeks? …Guys i cant even turn on the BAT 1 and 2…i cant do anything
tried KTPA, Engine 1 dies ![]()
I’m very frustrated. A320 neo is not usable within VATSIM anymore, because it’s always Cold and Dark!
So i have to switch to the B787 until this is fixed. It looks like the B787 works cold and dark…
Ahhh, this is what’s causing my joystick to stick to the left!
Think they tried implementing taxi procedure with one engine to save some fuel ![]()
I found a workaround for the left engine shutting down. Just leave the APU on (master and bleed on).
Once the engine shuts down there’s no way (that I know of) to restart it, but as long as the APU is on the engine should be working correctly (at least from my testing)
RIP fuel economy ![]()

So I worked around some of the issues here. On final into KSEA from KPDX…the left MFD Panel went dark at 300 ft above touchdown. Nice! That’s a new one.
KLAX. Left engine wont start.
Have to sit through the sim updating for an hour, then three restarts before things are working correctly with the user interface.
Silly me doing sim brief, program FMCS for journey ahead, relax to enjoy the of a working way only to find I am unable to start to the left engine despite four attempts.
Guess no flying for me tonight. Who in support can I talk to to negotiate my hourly rate for testing???
My left mfd also went dark during approach. What is going on here? Aren’t patches being tested?
Had the black out happen to me as well. They need to take a hard look at their QA process because it is not working.
Even the Dreamliner have similar issues according to users. Wow just wow
Every electronic display i supose
Also did see screenshots from the 172 with the same
First time I tried to fly the 787 after the patch, I’d throttle up and the engines died, this was from starting on the runway. I’ve restarted and had no problems since. Maybe this is related?
I also am affected by this issue. The APU constantly ON is NOT a proper solution.
Bleed logic was already strange pre-patch tho, no engine bleed worked and you only could start an engine by using APU BLEED.
Seemed to start up OK, batteries turned on, didn’t experience engine shutdown but I did not taxi, i was just parked at thee gate, however my left PFD was blank.
I was just getting to grips with the NEO as well
the start me up achievement is still not unlocking for me either.
1.does the engine spools down when idle at cruise altitude?
2. Hows the fuel management
This game is starting to be a proper sim. May the APU be with you
- N1 and N2 are 4 and 0.1 when the APU is off, 4 and 25 with APU on (if I remember correctly)
- I don’t know, I just did a quick series of tests to check when the engine dies, so I haven’t paid attention to the fuel consumption
Hoping to get atleast some sort of acknowledgement of this issue by support
Same here. Workaround: You have to run the APU the entire flight.
