I have been noticing this a lot lately, but it seems to only happen when I reach the first waypoint of a star. In the flight I just finished, I was stable 60fps for the whole flight, as soon as I hit the star near my arrival, fps started to tank to like 25-35 fps and is very stuttery. I landed, parked, shutdown plane, then went back to main menu and loaded in to the same parking space, same time, same weather and I get 60 fps again.
Edit: the flight was only 2 hours.
My main problem with the lag is that it happens at the worst possible time
I never get any degradation with any GA only the banderiante which seems to lock at around 35 fps but I think thats to do with the mod itself. I did a long haul in the 787-10, a couple of 2 hour flights in the FBW A32neo and no performance degradation what so ever.
However, today I tried the headwind a330-900neo mod and I had the live settings enabled. peformance dropped to 10-fps from 40 within 10-15 minutes. I quit, I disabled live players and just kept a.i traffic, fps was in the 40s then suddenly dropped to 29-30 out of no where mid flight. wattage consumption was reduced as indicated on my 1200w thor powersupply. Normally around 550 and this was aroud 500âs and my cpu and 3090 temps were lower than usual.
how can you have already done a long haul flight if the update just came out? LOL - impressive!
Can someone else try to and confirm this is either fixed or not?
I can do a flight tomorrow, but not today! cheers
I was in beta testing for the latest update and since this FPS drop the most annoying to me I did many long haul flight, but didnât find a reason to create a report regarding the issue. Hope this helps
Ok, put it clear just for you.. It is working flawlessly and didnât experience any FPS drop related this issue despite my many long haul flights, so I didnât create a âreportâ since it was already fixed. However, in my summa I praised about the fix (but I didnât fly yet today, so everything is based on my pervious experiences)
