This also concerns me with The SkyPark. All of the ‘good’ content may end up behind a subscription. Or maybe it will be extra content that I actually don’t care for. It’s too early to tell. At least with AH2 I know there will be no ‘surprises’ down the road.
I had no issues with AH1’s interface so expect to have no issues with AH2. I work with databases and spreadsheets regularly so felt at home, but I can see why it’s not to everyone’s tastes. There is a lot to be said for modern, cleaner interfaces - provided they still give you access to the data you need. ChasePlane was well made so in that regard I do have reasonable faith in Kevan with The SkyPark.
In the end, I think I’ll end up buying both as they serve somewhat different purposes. One to run a business simulation with some depth and more realism (aircraft tied to last location, fuel costs, cargo having weight etc.) and one to send you on a variety of adventures with a bit of ‘career progression’ on the side.
