Aircraft compatibility list (2020 to 2024)

Sounds of the Black Square TBM 850 work just fine, but because it uses Asobo TBM 930 sounds, it needs also a copy of it in your Community folder.

ATSimulations P149D flies pretty much perfectly. The only thing I’ve noticed is the glideslope doesn’t show in the CDI when tuning an ILS frequency in the nav. Could also be a MSFS issue or from that particular airport.

The Black Square Velocity XL worked for me on Xbox Series X during a complete cross country and found that most things worked, enough anyway for daytime VFR.

Add the Black Square TBM 850 to the list. Just completed a cross country flight and it seems to be working fine for daytime VFR flight.

I tried TBM850. Some cockpit sounds are missing and no engine noise for me

So many sound issues in 24 that I am ignoring them for now. The 850 is new to me in 2020 and so I am not the best judge of any sounds that are missing or incorrect, so thanks for pointing that out.

Did Black Square really use standard Asobo sounds? BS normally use custom sounds for their stand alones don’t they?

Thanks @AboardFaun59134 for putting the Super Decathlon on the compatible list. The Navions will all be ready next week as well. This includes the Camair 480 Twin Navion, Ryan Navion B “Super 260” and the Ryan Navion L-17B/L-17D. All 3 only have the dim screen issue for PC, but otherwise work great in 2024. Xbox has a few more issues with the Camair 480 exterior lights, but those are the only issues and will be fixed this week and available from my website and all 3rd party websites by this weekend. Official Marketplace release of the updates for 2020 to be backwards compatible in 2024 will be done ASAP (next week)via ingestion.

I don’t know what you were thinking, but for the King Air they use the default Asobo WWISE sounds, and added a few of their own using the old FSX style of .wav files for some of the cockpit sounds.

That’s right. Same goes for the other three analogue planes. I was talking about their stand alone planes. The king air isn’t that.
TBM, Dukes. I know for sure the dukes have their own sounds. I tend to think TBM may also have it’s own sound package and not rely on the 930 but I am not sure.

BKSQ Duke (and hopefully also all upcoming planes) sounds are made by Boris Audio Works. TBM and earlier BKSQ planes use Asobo sounds except those couple extra sounds added.

Table updated with new ac and patches (102 totals)

The Black Square Caravan works when you copy over the
2020 caravan from the 2020 official folder (asobo-aircraft-208b-grand-caravan-ex) to the 2024 community folder.

But as far i could test it has many problems with Autopilot

Wish I could afford a PC. A fair few of my favourite aircraft are now MSFS 2024 compatible but still waiting on the world to change over here in console-peasantville

I’ll be at PC in Saturday. Sorry

IniBuilds A300-600 is compatible. There are even two versions that work in FS24 - Compatible (FS20/FS24) and Premium (FS24 only).
