Aircraft compatibility list (2020 to 2024)

I’ve tried the SWS RV-8, RV-14, and CH701. The Zenith works fully, as far as I can tell, including avionics. I don’t usually ever use AP, so didn’t try that, although I don’t think the Zenith has that capability.

The two RVs both look good and fly well, but the avionics don’t work well. Can’t use flight plan mode in the default GNS530, and can’t create a flight plan on the world map or with LNM and load it to ATC or to the plane. Flight plan shows up in the EFB flight plan map, but not in the avionics.

WBSim 152 update with full FS2024 released

Just as a note - the Carenados will appear as Variants, but it depends on how many Carenados you own and in what order they were Enabled in the sim. So it’s not guaranteed that the other Carenados will appear as variants in a specific Carenado model/aircraft type. It’s almost random and based on testing, the model that it appears in will vary not only by sim restart but also by the number of times you go into Free Flight and try to find it. The only acknowledged bug is that the 182RG will not appear - that’s been filed and confirmed in Zendesk using my ticket, and marked in the forums as bug-logged

182RG Nowhere to be found.

My Content.xml says it’s enabled.

For folks still missing it:

try the search with only “182”

I did - no results.

Zendesk Team (Microsoft) was able to repro my results. Good that it’s working for some, but the majority of us don’t have it.

It “seems” to work but the flight model is definately screwed at the moment

  1. Leonardo MaddogX MD82 for 2024 is now in open beta and works fine (few bugs).
  2. Thanks to SU1 beta the PMDGs are starting to work. There are a lot of bugs to fix but the WASM problem seems to be addressed.
  3. SU1 beta fixes Garmin 430 backlight and others brightness issue

Unfortunately, with SU1 beta, the PMDG DC-6 no longer works well. It has the same issue as the Shorts. I’m incredibly sad.

Why would it? Has the developer announced it to be reverse compatible in 2024? And why try it in an already unstable beta release causing CTD’s in multiple aircraft models?

Cause I love the dc6 and the su1 fix all brightness issues.

Ok, but why be sad when the first beta release is in itself in sad shape? Just too soon really.

I can create an instant WASM crash in the 737 by merely turning the rotary knob on my Thrustmaster Boeing TCA throttle quadrant. One turn in either direction is all it takes. Which, when you stop to think about it, is really weird. The unit works literally out of the box in FS2020 for both PMDG Boeings and the iFly MAX. In FS2024, the larger three position selector knob (to choose between airspeed, heading and altitude) isn’t registered at all, while the rotary knob is bound to “Plus” and “Minus” in the Controls settings by default. In the PMDG 737, one turn is all it takes to crash the WASM code running the plane.

The Carenado M20r doesn’t work properly with the MSFS24 for me, I bought it in the Simmarket.

I can adjust the altitude, if I then click on (vs and arm) everything works, but when I then switch the button to set the climb (vs), the switch doesn’t work and I can’t adjust (vs).

In the first post, Notes (as P34 Variant) says what does that mean? Do you also have to buy the Carenado P34 for it to work?

Thanks for the help, I’m new here in the forum.
