ISSUE DESCRIPTION
DeI did not have this problem until the beta 4 update. I have a private pilot’s license, so I’m not a noob. I enjoy flying RNAV and ILS approaches with the G1000, either on the Cessna 172 or the Beechcraft Bonanza.
However, since the beta 4 update, the ILS approaches cause the aircraft to bank left and right while on the ILS glidepath. It is quite a severe banking, such that I have to take the aircraft off autopilot and fly manually.
I became so frustrated I uninstalled (twice), but same problem.
My computer is a desktop PC, running Windows 11 with all updates, used only for MSFS and Fortnite. My processor is an AMD Ryzen 5 9600X. I have 64 Gb of DDR5 memory. My graphics card is a AMD Radeon RX 7600XT. My mainboard is a Gigabyte G650M Gaming Plus WiFi. I am using a simple Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick.
Please, please find a cure for this. I can’t be the only pilot with this problem.scription of the issue:
FREQUENCY OF ISSUE
Each time I fly the Cessna 172 or the Beechcraft Bonanza using the ILS approach on the G1000.
REPRODUCTION STEPS
Please list clear steps you took in order to help our test team reproduce the same issue:
-
I depart from KUMP, rw 15, arriving at KIND on rw 23L for an ILS approach.
-
Altitude 3000’, fly vectors to KIND 23L 111.5, click on APR when 12 miles away.
-
When APR is switched on, the aircraft will start banking left and right, unable to obtain a steady approach to be in line with the runway.
