All aircraft veer to right during taxiing, take-off and landing

Try switching to legacy model and back to modern, I’ve read somewhere that it helped someone in similar situation. If you look from the outside, can you see the rudder deflecting when this issue appears?

Hi, I tried changing to legacy and back, but no luck. The rudder stays straight as seem from the outside view and the airlerons seem symetrical as well. I also checked if there is no brake keybinding assigned at the right side/wheel, but could not find any correlation either.

How about nosewheel steering? Is there a separate binding for that? Does the nose-wheel seem straight when this issue occurs?

Yeah right rudder means the aircraft is veering to the left, opposite to what the OP is describing

Hi Nijntje, yes, nose wheel looks straight as well; I have no binding to nose wheel steering.

Simply stated, if controls are centered including nose-wheel steering and no differential braking the aircraft can’t veer off . Torque, p-factor, slipstream cause yaw to the left for a clockwise turning prop so can’t be that either. Have you tried to reset all bindings to default? Assistances off, true to life? Maybe cycle between those options just to make sure nothing got stuck?

Hi Nijntje, yes, I tried without joystick & TQ attached and only keyboard in default setting and it still happens. It happens with all default MSFS aircraft, the only plane not having this behaviour is the FBW A32Neo mod - seems I will be flying IFR for some time until I can find a solution. Bedankt voor al je help.

Thanks, Peter

Do you see this phenomena no matter where you fly?

Hi, yes, it is not location bound and only on the ground; once airborne all aircraft behave as they should behave.

It doesn’t make sense. If it’s not a controller, and not wind, I can’t think of anything else that could do it.

Which looks a lot like a xwnd issue and even just a few knots will cause weathervaning.
Xwnd doesn’t exist once you are in the air.

It occurs with the default A320, but not with the FBW A320?
It would be nice to know if the FBW guys have modified the yaw behavior of their A320.

Maybe you can upload a video of the phenomenon?

Hi, as mentioned before, it is not WX related, no torque/vane effect etc. And yes, it happens with all MSFS aircraft, including the default A320, but not with the FBW A320. I assume a file in MSFS got corrupted causing this effect and the FBW overrides this corrupted file in some way or another so this effect does not manifest itself with the FBW.

Thanks, Peter

This is really puzzling. As @anon50268670 mentioned, a short video might help.

Yes, I will try to do this the comming week - I am on annual leave this week.

Just a bit off topic, apologies for this, but what is the best way to capture a video clip?

Do you have a Nvidia card? If yes you should be able to hit ALT + F9 and you’ll find a screen recording function. Xbox app on PC also should have a screen record function.

Yes, I have a Nvidia card, will give a try. Thanks again.

Or maybe default is ALT + Z to open the Nvidia overlay and ALT + F9 starts recording, not sure .
