I have to ask, will you bring this to the Marketplace and onto Xbox?

Absolutely love this aeroplane, such an interesting design.

Yes! We do have it in the overall plan to release for Xbox as well.

Nah it wasn’t that clever hehe
Just was alluding to the fact that Burstix helps organise the eSTOL Championship and I was expecting this would be a ride we can use.

But now you mention it, yes those stilt-like struts might need some reinforcing!

Haha, you’ve seen me fly then?! That’s the best way I’ve found of stopping too  :stuck_out_tongue:

Ground deformation coming in v2024?

Of course!

I’m honoured to help mate, and be a little part of it!! Onwards and upwards

Please consider state saving, good audio, engine damage/oil consumption, and vibrations! Looks great so far

I’m glad I seen your username here with the capitalisation. When Bursty wrote me before in all lowercase, I thought it was NerVegas

Welcome to the forums! And wishing you very good luck with the project

@FutureFlyer828 That would be great features! Great to see one of Kermits videos here =)

Probably the best videos on how to operate and fly the Storch are these three he did a while back:

Again I’m super excited about the Storch. I’ve been lucky to see a couple of them fly a few times, it’s quite a unique sight…and it’s a much bigger plane than one would expect.

Love that engine sound from the Argus AS10 V8. Same engine as in the Bf108

Cool! I don’t think it is THAT big though LOL (RC airplanes). I have never seen one IRL. Will be a great addition to MSFS though. Lately I have been enjoying the low and slow in VR.

Haha sorry I didn’t want to compare it to the RC planes  It’s just a picture I took at a small airshow a few years ago and shows it in relation to the people around it.

Before I saw it for the first time, I always thought it would be similar in size to a 172, but it’s much bigger. Its wingspan is almost 2m wider than a T-6 and it’s higher than a Stearman.

I found this out during the initial research I did into the plane, so I bought the BF108 just to hear those beautiful sounds!

Absolutely love the excitement on it! It really makes the development process even more enjoyable for us! Keep em’ coming, Kermit’s video’s have been great so far! I haven’t seen a couple of these ones yet so thanks for sharing!

Awesome picture, I thought it was funny, I had to double take for a second to see if I was looking at it right before I realized those were RC’s! Great picture though, the person there next to the wheel gives you a pretty dang good idea of how big the plane actually is!

Thanks man! We appreciate the suggestions, a lot of this stuff is being talked about daily as the model is coming along! We’ve got a list going of things we want to do, and these are mostly all on it, the rest will definitely be considered! :metal:

I’m glad you like Kermit’s videos on the Storch. He has published quite a few videos with it. Here’s another great one where he landed the Storch in the San Diego Zoo parking lot, really showing off its great STOL characteristics

Thank you I’m glad you like it =) I just went thru some of my old airshow pictures and found a couple of a six-ship Storch formation at Hahnweide 2011. I think that must have been the only time since WWII that six of them flew together (except maybe Morane license build ones in France). Sadly, the pictures were taken with an old cheap digital camera so the quality is pretty bad…but I can’t wait to recreate this flight with your Storch over Hahnweide, Old Warden or Duxford in MSFS =)

Love this, that is truly a rare sight. When she releases and you get that setup, if I got some lead time to clear the calendar I want to do it with you guys. Don’t forget to reach out when the time comes!

So I have a question for the Storch history buffs, I have a viewer that flies in our group flights, and flies in the eSTOL competitions and he shared something with me. I have tried every thing I can think of to find any info on this bird.

He shared a photo with my Discord community that his Grandfather took. His Grandfather wasn’t involved in military aviation but just happened to snap a great shot of this flight of three on the ground when he was in WW2.

Here’s the photo, does anyone know anything about this captured Storch? Or the other aircraft in the picture?

FYI, if you want testers later, let me know… I have tested on a number of aircraft… in FSX and MSFS.
