Just went to purchase.

What’s the difference between art print and poster? I’d like to frame mine.

I wondered the same myself as the choice of materials is the same. It’s usually the case that more checking of quality is done with art print than Poster. That’s what I’m going for.

Narrator: This particular Goose, exhausted from her journey from Alaska intends to rest and revive herself on this rare floating island. Indeed, this floating island, usally the domain of a large cats and even rhinos’ has never played host to a Goose before, but is thankfully devoid of it’s usual inhabitants so that this Goose, will find the rest she needs.

i have no clue who took that shot, so cant help you there lol

Have no doubt, it will go out on xbox at the same time as the PC Marketplace  wich will be a bit after the official relase, MS takes a long time to process the planes.

Thank you thank you so much for this.

Do I ever have empathy for you 3rd party developers re: Xbox. I cannot believe the myriad of issues surrounding the development, testing and certification process. A huge thanks for the effort to stick with us.

@NixonRedgrave will almost certainly dislike this question, but given the recent Twin Otter kerfuffle and how Aerosoft is saying a lot of the limitations on animations and systems are for Xbox compatibility, what sacrifices have had to be made to the PC version for parity?

I’d like to know before purchase.

I don’t dislike the question.

I dislike that Aerosoft has made the statement they have, when no one else has. If what they are claiming turns out to not be true, then they have generated a significant amount of vitriol. Given the myriad of issues they overlooked in their development, it doesn’t seem out of the realm of reality that they made other errors that led to say what they did say.

The DC-6, didn’t get trimmed back for Xbox and it is a significantly more complex aircraft than any introduced, thus far. The only reason it is grounded on Xbox currently, isn’t due to them pushing the limits, but is in an incompatibility with the requisite WASM code needed to run the aircraft and the Xbox OS itself. Once that is fixed, then it will fly again with all its complexities.

oh thats easy, we already have 2 planes on xbox, and we have done nothing at all to make them ā€œcompatibleā€ with xbox. What works on PC will work on xbox, unless your using WASM modules, but even then, thats supposed to get fixed. (We dont use them anyway)
What Aerosoft said about animations makes no sense at all, i have no idea why they said that, and i suspect they’re just covering up fro their mistakes. It was a trend a few month ago to say that ā€œthe SDK doesnt allow thatā€ when actually it was just a way of saying ā€œwe dont know how toā€ or ā€œwe cant be botheredā€. I suspect the same thing is happening here.

Once someone receives a poster/art print/whatever, please post a photo here and your impressions. I’d love to get one and hang it up in my gameroom.

Narrator: Whilst the underplummage of a younger Goose might be more colourful and complex, there is a simplicity and beauty in older birds. One could say that perhaps they are beyond the desire or need to compete in complexity, and are now well settled in their sublime beauty.
