Brief description of the issue:

Cannot log any flight in logbook since yesterday.
Detail:
Have flight logged after flying (seems logged locally), but when restart the sim, the new records are all lost.
Tried delete the “wgs” logbook folder and resync, no help.
I have 4870 flights logged, is that number beyond the capacity of logbook?

Seems when the log hits 16mg, that’s the end of the road. Mine hasn’t logged a flight since 8/25.

logbook maxes out at 2391, after every restart new entries are wiped. Latest persistent log is from Nov 19.

Over the last week my logbook has been recording 1 min, 3 min, etc for lengthy flights. Haven’t had this problem in a long time. Anyone else seeing this recently?

45 second flight this time from Salem, OR to Portland. The Corsair’s just not that fast.

Hi guys,

The logbook indeed has a max file size limit and the reason we’re not able to save our flights to the logbook is due to our logbooks hitting this size limit of 16MB.

Wow, the logbook really has a limit of 16MB and then just stops recording flights. No rolling out oldest entries, no hint in the simulator, no way to delete entries manually.
Surely an unpaid intern must have come up with this.

I deleted the logbook file from the harddisk and start fresh with 0 hours and 0 flights.

My logbook stopped working on Jan 21, 2023… (PC) Store Version. Cloud crash and I lost sync… But started again and ok. But since then I am stuck at 1372 hrs… Flights upon completion show in the log book, but upon restart of the sim, the entry is gone. (The Last entries of Jan 21, 2023 and prior show, but nothing after that date sticks! Anyone know how to fix or did I hit the max limit?? HELP?

I dumped the in-sim logbook as it was just so unreliable. I now use Volanta which seems very solid and also means I can study the flight path, altitude etc while having a coffee later on using my laptop

They need to fix it cause it’s broken.

Exactly the same experience. Log stopped 8/25/2022 at 1337 hours. Shows log at the end of a flight, but shut down the Sim and it’s gone forever.

My Logbook stopped appending flights on March 12. New Flights show in the Logbook in the current session but are lost after closing the session. When I restart flgihtsim the last flight recorded is dated March 12 2023. I hope Asobo is aware of the issue and is investigating a solution. I have filed a zendesk ticket.
