Which you conveniently failed to answer.
because you are asking me to explain something I havent said. What I HAVE been saying is that if you want real authentic reality and get that from add ons your PC takes a hit and you may have to spend more money on your hardware or do, as you seem to advocate, reduce the definition level of your sim , which by the way makes no sense whatsoever. Buying super add on and then reduce the spec of your sim to run them. sound crazy to me.
No single addon will require that, and you wont find anywhere that I said that.
Good for you.
In P3D you had these. In MSFS you don’t have them yet.. and it takes your favorite addin (PDMS-737) months longer to develop. That is what we know atm. It does not prove (yet) it can be done, nor can we be sure that it will conform to your standards of “realistic”. You keep asking for P3D with MSFS scenery and that may be just too much to ask atm.
Or they’ll gas light you and troll you and team up together. I’ve experienced this often for asking a question. Even if their post has thousands of likes and does violate community guidelines they’ll keep the post up.
They didn’t listen to user feedback then. If you believe that then have ask yourself how come are they doing it now. FsX, X-Plane p3d has to be heavily modded by third parties to feel real and look real. Every flight simulator has a forum. I don’t go in these forms to argue or gas light anyone and or troll anyone. Real world pilots use this flight simulator for training. My flight school uses flight simulators for ground school. If it’s not operating as it should they’ll also submit feedback. Not gas or troll it. What’s the point for real world pilots that use a flight simulator? The cost of actual flight time per hour. Research why real world pilots use a flight simulator.
Submitting feedback is necessary for better improvements. I’ve witnessed if users submit useful feedback the flight sim has gotten better. Why mock someone pointing out a fact about the sim and laugh? This is a forum.
This is a forum and they love listening to their users and many are actual pilots.
Brought to your attention. Cessna Citation is also working with Microsoft and Asobo. I’ve flown a Cessna 172 G1000 numerous times I’m not bloating either. The MFD and PFD would often run into discrepancies where a (failure) occurs. This is on a 300,000 dollar aircraft. When those occur those they have to be acknowledged and sent to techs. Otherwise the problems and issues go ignored and cause a fatal accident. The flight simulator is exactly identical to real world flight. Pilots do use this for flight training when the cost of actual flight time can cost you.
The person who began this post said.
The topic isn’t irrelevant either it’s an actual question not a (wish).
That’s a main reason MSFS needs to be as realistic as possible, so flight schools can keep using it. I wonder if MSFS has the same status already for 7x7 and Neo..
A question that needs to be answered.. will the development time and optimisations involved for advanced avionics realism have any impact on recreational users of MSFS ? Topics like development of the flight model, or development of DX-12 kernel and scenery ? In that case it would backfire, because larger part of the MSFS market is not involved in RL flight education. Less demanding when checklists, ATC, waypoints and flight plan addins are concerned.. I know this is a controversial point and a risk to bring up..
As I’ve mentioned. They’re working with Cessna for licensing. I’ve witnessed that having better hardware wouldn’t eliminate the problems that users are having with less hardware specifications. Asobo and Microsoft has in fact eliminated many problems and issues that are far then dead with feedback I’ve submitted. The technical issue relies on how the users submit their feedback with clear and useful feedback.
What I’ve said was that feedback from their users is important to them and they do mention it on their twitch and youtube channel.
They’re not ignoring every one. You have to think about the amount of users and the feedback being posted.
you might well say that, I couldnt possibly comment.
My remarks intended, of course, as an attempt at levity and should not be mis-construed as
being in any way critical.
Regards.
of course, no offense taken I assure you, hence my reply
straight out of ‘house of Cards’
MSFS 2020 is orders of magnitude more complex than FSX, in variables and quantities of data and required speeds of processing.
So. That doesn’t excuse the debacle that has transpired. They are in over their head. It’s very evident.
Yes it’s complex. So get a developer that’s as complex and qualified to DO THE JOB!
Its a one of a kind, and a prototype, and development is in progress. I have an I7 9700K and an nVidia RTX 2070 Super, and can run most sceneries on all Ultra’s at 25-45 fps, except for some recent Paris or London below 20 at times with a little stuttering, which seems to optimize with use. The key thing is that it is continuously being improved and added to. Whoever promised black and white absolute “perfection” ? This was never a selling point. I think we all knew this would evolve …
