Are the PMDG 777's working yet in SU4 Beta?

Just wondering if the PMDG birds are working in SU4 yet? and also what other Add-ons are broken?

Can’t click on controls on the 200ER in SU4 latest beta.

PMDG, iFly, Aerosoft CRJ, GSX, A2A, Just Flight, Some Inibuilds planes, MD-80, Citation X are confirmed broken. Rex Atmos Core was broken, but has a beta release out that works in SU4 Beta now.

Confirmed to still work: Fenix Airbus Line, Just Flight Arrow/Archer/Warrior (with a complete uninstall and reinstall), Inibuilds A300, and Carenado aircraft. TDS and PMS 50, Navigraph, VPilot, Real Turbulence CAT v2, All the stock aircraft work.

I cannot get the GPS 100 to come on in the JF Arrows.

(yes, I am weird and like to use the archaic vintage GPS.)

Why oh why do these questions keep getting asked. Almost every dev will tell you that they don’t support or deal with issues relating to the sim beta releases. Every beta breaks something or another. Its too much of a moving target to chase for devs so don’t worry about things not working in betas until a while after we get to an actual non beta release. It’s the same every SU.

I don’t see the problem with the question, they’re not asking for support, and they’re already aware that the beta breaks things. It seems like they were just asking which addons are broken?

Exactly. It’s just an inquiry.

And it is entirely conceivable that Asobo will fix something related to WASM and these will all work again.

Totally acceptable question to be asking.

Acceptable problem to flag and question to ask..kind of the point of the BETA.

While we can’t expect developers to fix products broken by a BETA release until the release is final, we DO want Asobo to know they broke things.

Issue is, Asobo broke the PMDG 777, a350 ini and others for us VR people with SU3. They did last minute changes without testing and now also in SU3 the 777 does not work

As they work on ps5 now I don’t expect anything until next year.

Asobo provlem. nothing to do with PMDG.

Not yet, but we have been told by Microsoft they believe to have identified the issue.

Sure bug reports are useful but this isn’t that.

The point is guys anything can be broken and at anytime. It’s beta.

Sorry for just being honest here, but these ‘are we there yet” type questions are just tiresome when it relates to a beta. We could be there and the next day something else breaks it.

But it is also important to know/understand what has been broken in a beta I think. I’ve withdrawn from this SU4 beta as I value flying the PMDG aircraft and won’t spend any time testing a beta in which most of my favourite and most familiar aircraft don’t work. - but I will come back and do some beta testing when I know that the aircraft I value the most are functioning properly - so actually it’s very useful (to me) to know that the devs think they know what the problem is and are trying to fix it.

I also found this issue: when interacting with switches and buttons in PMDG 777 they couldn’t move

Just a reminder that there is a specific External 3rd Party Products section in the Beta forums, and in fact, someone very quickly created a thread to track issues with WASM aircraft after the first SU4 Beta build was released and problems discovered:

Topic moved from Beta category as this topic’s question is not feedback on the current beta, nor a report of a regression.

So the next beta we may see the fix?

Hope keeps us alive!

Might be. But keep in mind that we do not support beta versions. These are designed to find problems in the simulator and thus is, per definition, not a stable platform. We we seen with SU3 beta, major changes can be made days before release.
