The noise is most likely the wheels constantly “extending” as they don’t get locked.
The ATR has been a tremendous work, far better than the low price and soon we will forget all those annoying bugs and fully enjoy !!! 
Not to say it was indeed hard to wait for all of us, but hey, the ATR deserve it, without any other available ATR and I love it 
I agree with you, great aircraft, however as you say, it is very buggy to say the least! I am sure the real thing does not operate like the one in MSFS2020. I really the NAV controls need some tweaking. ILS , RNAV approaches etc are terrible. Very hard to catch GS and maintain it that is if it aligns correctly. Hope they fix all these issues.
Well, they just came out with fixes for A310, A320 v2, and Porter but NOTHING WITH THE ATR ISSUES that have been going on all year and no fixes!! I am very disappointed and I am sure I am not the only one!!!
ATR will be updated on october 10 from what we know on last stream
