Even more proof that my suggestion from June needs to be implemented!
The unit of measurement issue was brought up again in the August stream Q&A but they acted like it was the first time they were hearing about it and said it would be a good idea and they would add it to their list.
That would be great if they hadn’t already talked about this issue (as recently as 2 months ago) and already committed to do something about it (however clearly they didn’t actually do anything or they would have mentioned that on this month’s stream).
[Moderator edit: do not tag the Community Managers] please can we follow up on action items from the dev streams so these promises are kept and this kind of situation is avoided in the future?
Very happy that Black Square was able to get their Dukes on the marketplace.

Hard to believe four years already!! But, as Kermit the Frog likes to say, “Time’s fun when you’re having flies!” It’s been a fun four years and looking forward to many more (I’m 85 years old!)

I am right behind you at 65 here. Love this hobby and since 2020 came out the ride got even better and improves weekly now.

Apologies for tagging the people who my message was directed towards. I didn’t realise that was not allowed.
I was under the impression that this thread was for providing feedback to the community management team and I must admit it is not a good look when the feedback is not only ignored but the comments are edited by moderators to seemingly remove the community management team from the discussion!

It’s because for whatever reason, people feel the need to harass them instead of providing constructive feedback. It unfortunately ruins it for the people with good intentions that try to help with things.
However that is why we have the bug/feedback channel. The mods and others at MSFS/Asobo track and read those items. So they aren’t being ignored as long as you put them in the right channel.

Whilst I can understand the confusion here, we do politely ask that users don’t ping the CM team in their posts. This does not guarantee any priority in us handling any issues that you may be wishing to report, or that we will respond to it directly at the time of you pinging.
Please respect that the Community Management team have many different tasks as part of our work day, and just because we do not respond to your individual comment does not mean that we are deliberately ignoring you. It isn’t feasible for us to respond to every comment on the forums, but please rest assured that we actively look for constructive feedback on a very regular basis and escalate items as is necessary.

Ok thanks for the clarification. I look forward to the September developer livestream where the team will update us on their progress of fixing the unit of measurement issue.
Oh yeah we are! The only way I could be even more fired up would be if the Brazil World Update was available at FS2024 launch. I’m okay with waiting a little more now, haha. (Hope they pay attention to smaller brazilian cities too!)
Seeing the Dukes’ release on Xbox was a huge surprise. AFAIK, there was zero mention of an imminent release outside of “they’re coming” since asking Just Flight back in June.
Will definitely be picking them up with 2024.
