I can stop it with the brake and it stops pretty quick, which seems a little unrealistic.

Yeah, I find that too. But in this case my enquiry was specifically about the real world procedures.

Weirdly, I reloaded the sim and now have no flap problems thankfully.

I have definitely seen anomalies like this with other aircraft on first load.

ATR - Will we ever be able to use this aircraft for real?..
For God’s sake, ATR keeps freezing the displays and buttons in the cockpit, first test after update and I’ve already come across this terrible problem, will we have another (almost) useless update again?
a tip, it seems to have some relation with the MP (Multiplayer), so far, whenever the multiplayer is on this happens, please pay attention to that.

Are the pitot tubes fixed yet? They used to point upwards.

Does anyone find the flight idle TQ is too high? It seems to go below 10% in real ? :thinking:

You got a vertical bug?

I just had an RNAV approach and had nothing of the sort. Oddly the aircraft was able to follow a vertical path, but it had no indication it was doing so, so I either nailed with my timing of re-activation (thinking toggling it off/on would get some bug/pathing to appear) or it was doing something right. It was right on the money with PAPI until I took over for the landing.

I need to do some further flights to see what goes on, but there are definitely still oddities here.

I’m not seeing anything like this, at all.

@SkyVagrant4490 @Zwen0416 check out this video from magnar, around 4:35 to 4:40 mark, you can see how the engine 1 is stopped first and the propeller is spinning from inertia (/ wind?) and the engine 2 is spinning still much faster, but suddenly engine 2 propeller comes into an abrupt stop and engine 1 propeller is still spinning very slowly.

Can someone tell me if the AP is now doing better progressive turn? specially for ILS

Im not a mechanical minded person by a long shot… but wow… there must be a lot of stress and what not with how fast that prop stop…

Massive thanks for the continuing support and updates for this fantastic plane!

The wings of ATR series 600 still has those “vortex generator” protrusions on the wings. This one still looks very smooth.

You can clearly see them in the video and picture collages of their website:

There is this misleading image that shows smooth upper wing surface for some reason:

Not surprising.There are 100% issues affecting hydraulics and
Hotel engage/disengage that disappear on reload.

I did encounter something strange with the GPWS beforehand, but I cannot check if it is fixed or is there something wrong on my end. After rotation I climbed to acceleration altitude and then starting to level off. Since there is actually a mountain in front of me, the terrain warning comes up as well as the red button lights up. So I turned to clear the terrain and the sound goes away but the red light stays on. If I push it, it begins testing the GPWS system. If I flip on override then off, the light comes back on again. This happens from time to time and I have no idea.

Hi,
Today after the update I have tried both 46 and 76. To my surprise TRU is always OFF.
Is there a problem or am I doing something wrong?

This is my flow after connecting GPU.
HYD button then lock on.
Start right eng in H mode.
After pushback HYD button then lock off
Start right eng.
Flaps 15
TRU (which won’t illuminate)

I have also tried starting the a/c via EFB. Engines running but TRU is OFF
