I installed and launched the Aviator version. It runs just fine, but I only have a handful of airplanes. I properly exited the sim, and upon re-launching it’s going through the whole initial installation again. Help please.

I bought the Aviator edition and I’m on a PC. I was able to get it installed. However, there are only 7 aircraft showing up instead of 200. If I go to marketplace I see that the aviator and other upgrade packages are not installed. If I select them there is no way to install them. When will I be able to get the full package that I purchased?

We are currenty aware of this issue and working to resolve it. Thank you for reporting!
It’sa known issue.
You should be happy you can get into the game at all. This means you are in the elite few.
It was a disaster release… Waste my 2 hours
Working on it!

I saw another post on here with a solution and I tried it and it worked. I went to the settings, online and increased the size of the rolling cache from 16 GB to 120 GB and now I have all of the planes. It probably doesn’t need to be that a bit, but I’ll stick with that.
Once your loading into the sim. if you stay on for a while, the sim will download all the files needed for your entire plane collection automatically in the background. And if you restart the sim, all your planes you purchased should so up
any Idea when been almost a Month still have a few planes 199.99 worst money I spent
been almost a Month
Hi @ThreeMango31307 & welcome to the forums!
I’m sorry to hear that you are still missing some of the aircraft in the Aviator Edition. Is it just some of the Aviator aircraft that are missing, or also Premium / Premium Deluxe too?
You might try removing & re-installing MSFS 2024 if you originally installed during the first few days when the game was released, as it appears that, for some folks, the game did not install correctly. I have seen comments that a re-installation fixed some issues that users were experiencing. I do not know - or can guarantee - that all the aircraft in the Aviator Edition will become available if you do this, but it is worth a try at this point.
If that does not work, I suggest opening a ticket with the ZenDesk here.
latest patch made my Beech Model 18 go poof and shows disabled and says restart sim to enable but never happens.
I’m missing most of the aviator aircraft as well. I had them at launch, but now they’re gone. Reinstalling didn’t bring them back. That ZenDesk link just shows this:
I’ve already logged in, and I’ve submitted requests previously. Not sure what to do next here, there’s no link or direction…
EDIT: Found where they all had been disabled in My Library.
not sure why reinstalling would help since everything is streamed.
Um, it’s not going to enable it for you. That means if you enable it, you have to restart the sim for it to work/show up.
I always click enable and then it asks to restart sim to take effect then I reload sim then it shows disabled again. However I was able to fix it by using msfs addon linker which not official via the content.xml editor
Ok. I didn’t understand that from your post, so, makes sense.
Somethings up though if that’s the case. Worked fine for me when I did it, but, clearly 2024 is pretty wonky at the moment, remembering settings being one of the major issues.
Same here. Another incorrect promise from Asobo/Microsoft. Feels like fraud
