(UPDATE: Do not map both Standard Mixture and the LVAR simultaneously, as they interfere with each other. Use separate profiles, or else use conditional logic to use the Standard Mixture with the regular Baron, and the LVARs for the P and TC. )
I have it like the below. (@CharlieFox00 I actually had both default mixture and LVAR mapped without realizing it until I checked )
This works for all three variantsā¦the Standard Mixture control for both L and R, and the custom BKSQ LVAR as well. The LVAR is from 0 to 1, and the Rescale Value from 0 to 1 should give you the continuity.
Wifeās birthday, so no simming today, but Iāll verify this all tomorrow.
I am simply in love with the Bonanzas. Thereās something really lovely about them, and I still canāt get over the fact that we have the normally aspirated, turbocharged and turboprop versions. Being able to switch between them is so much fun and really helps to avoid fatigue.
Yesterday I did some traffic patterns as a training to really get familiar with its characteristics. The one thing with the Bonanza is that it is over banking heavily. I guess it is accurate though, but it needs some getting used to when you come from a DA40 or Comanche.
Then today I had a lovely flight about 250 NMs from handmade El Hierro airport to GCRR Lanzarote. Took out the turbonormalized Bo and it climbs like a champ to FL125 in a blink of an eye, just crank everything and donāt worry and level out, config at 25/25/ROP and there you go cruising at around 195 KTAS.
I wonder if Nick from BS is going to add any extra features, such as a more advanced wear and tear / maintenance system. Something that makes you feel like you own the aircraft a bit more. I think this is the only area in which A2A still has an advantage. In terms of value for money, if you are looking for high end stuff, the latest Pro bundles might be the absolute best you can find for MSFS.
Iām glad the Bonanza came out before the Caravan or else I wouldāve never bought it. Itās a great GA aircraft, very stable, great sounds, worth every penny.
I doubt it, they have pointedly used the same instrument design in the 2020 planes. It might be a one third derivative of a 3.91 max pressure percentage at which it becomes dangerous.
I think it just made designing and calculations systemically easier this way.
I might be way off but only the designers can clear this up.
When using the JPI EDM-800 Engine Monitor, to select lean of peak (LOP) leaning, hold both control buttons for three seconds until āLEAN Lā is shown
Yes that click spot is really hidden. You have to hover your mouse over the bottom of the EDM for it to become visible. If I had not watched that video it would have been an eternal mystery!
Is anyone else having issues getting the registration to show on the bonanzas? It worked on the first flight and is blank on every subsequent flight, and if I get rid of the custom reg the one for the livery wonāt show up either.
Yeah, that used to be a problem with some aircraft from the start in FS2024. The Blackquare TBM 850 had it as well and it also happens with the A2A Comanche or TacFlight Kiowa.
It appears to be fixed in SU4 Beta, just like Zwoop said.
Alright thanks, I donāt use the beta builds so Iāll just live with it until then. I have tried the slider in the tablet but it doesnāt seem to have an effect after the first flight.
Yeah, with SU3 and before it was hit and miss. Sometimes the reg would show up, sometimes it wouldnāt. Sometimes restarting the flight would make the reg appear, sometimes it wouldnāt. Just a random game of luck. I could never figure out a pattern.
Interesting, I have yet to see the reg show up on the Bonanza since I bought it. The EFB switch has no effect for me. It doesnāt show on the aircraft in the livery selection UI, either.
However, the Baron shows its reg. I also have the Starship, and its reg shows when the EFB switch is set.
I wonder why this works for some and not others. I am in SU4 Beta.
