If you do this before the engines and gens are running, you might need to close the bus ties manually
Thank you so much
I have formatted and reloaded 8 times in the last two days to try to make this work.
So I bound my Honeycomb Alpha to Avionics Master Switch and it actually works.
I didn’t have to use Avionics Master switch 1.
Why has no one mentioned this?
Thanks again.
Not using SU11
Weight 15000lbs
Low idle, prop full forward, throttle idle.
Brakes released > aircraft rolls straight away > ground speed climbs upwards of 20 knots (rough estimate 1knot per second increase)
Maybe it’s normal? Just noticed a delta between the previous version and this new one.
She’s a beauty and I can’t stop flying her ![]()
I adjusted the flaps lift - but the trim should not be so much different. I can easily rotate with the standard trim setting when loading on the runway. At which speeds do you rotate approxamately?
that sounds to fast. you do have version 0.1.2. right?
Yeah latest version.
It looks to have installed ok too. In simplistic terms - theres lighting on the cabin alt panel and the barber pole is at a higher speed now. I’m going to take that as it’s installed with those mentioned in the change log.
I might try an uninstall, load MSFS with different aircraft, then reinstall (I read somewhere that’s a good process to do?)
I start rotating around 105 or 110.
sorry to hear you did reinstall everything a bunch of time
with having only “black screen” issue as a description without knowing what s everyone’s setup, it s hard to sugger workaround furthermore so many forum user claim facing a bug while they are just mis handling the aircraft … it’s always hard to guess
and maybe nobody really knew about the TDS’s code issue,
I shared this statement as soon as I received this morning mail from Blacksquare devs, regarding this TDS issue .
If you are expecting this kinb of support you can post on forum for sure but I also advise you to contact JF support directly by opening a ticket
they are there in this purpose
as we got a fairly complex product there , with a complex elec system, JF support are the most suitable to provide this kind of answer
Have a nice day !
That is ok. Mmh. But if you trim right, you have no difficulty to takeoff?
Can you tell me how much TQ% you see if in low idle? Should not be more than 3%
Yeah around 3 - 4 %
- Before this update, my T/O trim was always (since V 1.0.0) set here. It was perfect and there was rarely any need to trim at all promptly after rotating in takeoff.
- But with this update, that trim above was not enough, i had to do additional trim quickly after rotating or the plane would drop and i would be fighting to keep it at climb angle if i don’t quickly trim. So i set the trim now here:
Nothing wrong with all this, i’m just saying i noticed a difference that’s all.
Hi, I’m actually using Black Square King Air on a full size B200 cockpit with external G1000nxi integration. In that regard the developer is very helpful and provided me with variables informations to handle cockpit interaction. You may contact me in MP in case you are in need for some infos, when I will be ready I may set up a reference document to share with the cockpit builders community.
That is very nice. THank you. I also made some AAO scripts, I am still working on some stuff and will upload them to an appropriate platform.
better , I would suggest to lower propeller if you are on ground and know you will hold long time , tryed reducing a bit the power lever, it ll fast bring you in reverse mode, and then when you found a no drag point , it will change with temperature condition, it s not imuable. endless story, like with -0.2 at 13° was for me not moving situation, but at -13°C you will go reverse with lever at -0.2%
but I was sure before idle high had to show 0 tq engine with levere at 0% may be I m wrong, I m far to be an expert regarding flightmodel and a taxiing fan neither (but atm I would say the situation isn’t really a problem for me, just release parking brake and let it slowly go without being scared to overspeed on ground
)
Anyone tried taxying with a strong tail wing > 25 knots. I suspect that could be a problem?
Tail wind on the ground it gains speed quick!
Turn around via slew into wind in the same spot. No movement at all.
I never altered the throttle?
Aircraft weight 15000lbs

Thanks, I ran into this again sporadically last night and did a lot of switch flipping on the flight deck, but i can’t remember how exactly i had my honeycomb set up. Maybe the harware avionics switches have something to do with it. Funny thing is, my TDS GTN wasn’t the issue this time, it was the stock (& later the PMS) 530. Will fiddle around with it some more after work today.
