Black Square TBM 850 Discussion

Ah, I see it now - thanks so much, and thanks for hanging out on the stream last night!

I am loving this plane after the update. I have been flying it pretty well to the red line. Torque at 120%, rpm at 2000, itt at 800+. Don’t seem to be causing any engine damage. Any real TBM pilots out there know if this is realistic?

Apologies if this has been asked a million times. Could you please clarify when the 2024 version of the aircraft will be available in the Marketplace?

I originally purchased it back in 2020, but the Marketplace is still only offering the older versions. I deeply regret buying so many planes through the Marketplace. The wait for updates feels endless, while everyone who bought directly from JustFlight or the developer is already enjoying their flights.

Who are you asking this to? Us consumers have no idea nor do third-party developers. They submit it and it gets uploaded to the marketplace whenever. Sometimes it can take months. This is one of the reasons that I avoid the marketplace as much as possible. Of course Xbox users don’t have this option.

Hi, I’m using version v0.1.4 for FS2020 of the TMB850. I’m literally racking my brains trying to figure out how and where the hell I need to go to get the RUD TO working… If any good man or woman could help me I’d be immensely grateful…
Thanks
David

Do you have the rudder trim bound?

Thanks for your reply, I apologize but this forum did not allow me to reply to your reply.. ok what do you mean by locked rudder trim? with the translation from English to Italian it is not very clear..

Do you have the rudder trim assigned?

I use the Thrustmaster T16000 which also has the Throttle. I assigned the Rudder to that sort of butterfly behind the throttle.

You need to bind the rudder trim (not the rudder itself) to a key or controller. In the real aircraft this is normally only accessible on the yoke switch, which is replicated in the sim. However, in the sim, yoke buttons and switches are notoriously hard to click with a mouse, thus the need to assign them to a different control.

There is no way to assign rudder trim to an axis through the MSFS 2024 control settings that I can see. I personally have it assigned to a switch on the top left of my yoke. The assignments are RUDDER TRIM LEFT and RUDDER TRIM RIGHT.

THANKS everyone, problem solved (finally)

I don’t know what these would be in Italian…

…it’s true that you don’t have time to solve one problem and another one immediately pops up… when I go to load a Littlenavmap Flight Plan into FS2020, it loads it, but when I turn on the Avionics, the Garmin 530 doesn’t display the GPS route… does this happen to anyone else?
Let me know, thanks.

Is CFD implementation planned for this aircraft?

MSFS24 - 0.1.4 on xbox has no sound at all… Any tips?

Do you have Asobo TBM 930 enabled? You need it to get to sounds working.

BTW, any forum moderators here? This topic title need modification.

There is no way to disable it. It works fine on my end. No idea why it doesn’t on theirs. You used to have to copy the MSFS 2020 TBM 930 into the MSFS 2024 Community folder but you don’t anymore.

r you on xbox?
