ISSUE DESCRIPTION

Description of the issue: Every time I fly the Boeing 787 (MSFS 2020) Version in MSFS 2024 it Crashes Every single time on landing and spirals out of control!!!

Same here, although I got it to land just fine by using max autobrake and not touching reverse thrust above 90kts. It’s actually an old bug. There might be some other combination that works better, but I’m tired of beta testing.

787 Aggressive Hard Right On Landing

I think this is already known, but looking for confirmation. The post only said rudder issue. Twice now when landing 787, the rudder went hard right. First time I thought it was I did something. So are others getting this issue, or is this a me issue? This is following the most recent MSFS update.

Some other people have trouble with it spinning out of control while taxiing, which is mentioned in the 787 Polls and Feedback thread.

Tried flying Kuro_B787-8 in msfs2024 took off from EGWU IN England to MWCR in Cayman no problem but on landing the wings fold up and the plane starts spinning around has anyone ales had this problem and is there a fix.

Same problem. Thought it was only me. Mine happens when landing and putting reverses on. I’ve messed around and was thinking it was just me. The moment I touch reverse it flips out and generally ends up upside down. Apart from that it works great on the 10 and 9 version. Really annoying. I will try it on full autobrake as suggested and see if it doesn’t flip out.

Yes exactly this. I think it’s a base model issue.

Yes, it works fine with brakes on full auto and you can manually add brakes but the moment you touch reverser this is the outcome

Avoid reverse thrust. There’s more to it than that, since I got it to work sometimes, and reverse seems to work perfectly on a rejected takeoff, but I’m tired of testing this stuff.

Yeah on the ground and pre leaving the ground it’s fine it all works. The moment you’re airborne and landing that’s when you end in a whole world of pain.

had same problem till i keyed in the revers thrust onto the desktop (key pad)
then started working on my throttle properly.
now fly’s like a dream

Sorry, but I really can’t understand what you mean. I tried setting up keyboard commands for both Toggle Reverse Thrust and Hold Reverse Thrust, and it works exactly the same as if I have it bound to a button on my throttle.

I made two circuits in the 787-10 again yesterday afternoon in FS2024. Weather was the clear skies preset to avoid any influence of wind or nonstandard pressure. In each instance, as soon as the thrust reversers were engaged, the aircraft began tumbling and flying into the air. The second time I ran the test, I let the aircraft continue tumbling at full-reverse. As the tumble progressed, the aircraft altitude continued to increase to nearly 5,000’ AGL before I returned the engines to idle and closed the reversers. At this point, the asymmetric forces and weird physics glitch appeared to end - the aircraft began falling and passive-stability characteristics took over and dampened the tumble.

So based on what I saw, this seems to be a definite bug in the either the physics model of the sim or the way the 787 itself is modeled. I hope this gets changed to “bug-logged” soon and corrected in the first sim update.

Ok so I fly koru 787-8 and found by putting in the B78XH-0.1.15 the plane fly’s fine, only thing not working is the auto throttle, LOL tell my co pilot not to touch throttle hope this helps
