Bonanza G36 Turbo Mod Available

I’m currently doing an extended world tour with the Turbo V4. Now in Australia after routing through India, Nepal etc. Mount Everest no problem.

I also use the Improvement mod alongside it on a different tour with no problems there either - basically they’re now separate aircraft.

So am I understanding correctly that the improvement mod is a separate plane, and the turbo overwrites the default. However the turbo also has all of the guts of the improvement mod in it? So effectively if I have both improvement and turbo mods installed, I’m getting the base model with improvement, as well as turbo mod with improvement?

How in sync are the updates to the turbo with the improvement mod?

No, the turbo does not have the guts of the improvement mod

Hey,

We tried to work with Robert Young to make the two aircraft compatible but sadly our two licence models and various other factors made this untenable. We made our mod into a separate aircraft so that the two mods could co-exist for the user. Neither aircraft inherits the others features.

would it be possible to ‘‘turboed’’ Carenado’s new V35 Bonanza too?

Cfg files are encrypted on marketplace payware planes.

Not after SU10. Allegedly

I think that’s a misconception. SU10 unlocks the cfg files on the premium and deluxe edition planes. It doesn’t do it on marketplace add-ons.

still encrypted in the latest beta

Need help with the Bonanza G36.

I have the Steam edition MSFS2020 and the Bonanza g36 lacks power. Tried downloading and installing the improvement mod to my Community folder. I do not get the hanger or any of the tools shown for the mod. The G36 still does not develop full power for takeoff and climb. Can barely get 85 knots on a 7000’ runway at sea level (20’). Have tried the two improvement mods and the turbo mod. Have disabled auto mixture. Still no power. Using the Honeycomb Bravo

Any suggestions? Please help. My Daher 930, Cessna 172, Cessna 208 all perform very well.

I believe the improvement mod for the BE36 is a standalone, as is the turbo model, and not an addon for the stock aircraft.
I’ve just gone back to the improvement version, after doing many hours with the turbo, and it works fine. However make sure you select it and not the MSFS base model.

Robert Young 's Turbo Mod overrides some of the SimObjects files on the base Asobo G36, but otherwise relies on the majority of the plane’s default files (i.e., model etc) since those don’t require changes. So when you’re in the hanger, you will see only one G36, the modded one, available for selection.

Thank you for your replies. The only G36 showing in my hanger is the Turbo G36. I have the Honeycomb Bravo with TPM setup. Starting with the plane on the runway will idle for a short time and quit. To restart, I need to use the fuel pump and shut off after short idle. Attempting takeoff on a 7000’ runway at 30’ altitude (Sitka, AK) full throttle, 30 manifold, 2210 rpm, full rich. I cannot get speed above 55 knots.

Do I need to start from scratch by deleting all mods? And reinstalling Asobo into my Community folder?

Thanks in advance for your assistance. I’m new to using mods and the community folder. Have always just used the stock aircraft in the past.

I use the turbo mod all the time for my world tour. Your MP is fine at 30in but revs are way too low, should be 2700. Are you pushing the propellor lever (blue one in the middle) fully forward? Initially you should get an overspeed warning but it settles back to 2700 which is the approved maximum. Once you’re airborne and in the cruise you should then bring revs back to around 2500 and MP 27in which will give you a 170kt cruise.

If you cannot get 2700 I’d guess your controller needs recalibrating. Also check the Control Options in the sim to check you’re getting full movement.

You’ll never get airborne with only 2210rpm.

Hope that helps.

Terrylawdinn, thanks for getting back to me. I’ll check my set ups and get back to you.

Well I’ve tried all of your suggestions. Went into Control Options and rechecked all movements of TPM, ok. Went into Sensitivity and checked movement, everything is linear. Tried different offsets and dead zones, made no difference. Tried using the Cessna 208 settings and no difference. From the start menu, went into USB Gaming menu and calibration, did a reset. Nothing changed. Booted Flight Sim in Safe Mode and Turbo option went away, reverted to Asobo G36 with same problems as the turbo version. Went and flew the Cessna 208 with the 208 options and everything worked fine. Nothing I seem to do will allow the rpm’s to go above 2200. Engine always quits when throttle is pulled slightly. Takes awhile for CHT to reach green after engine start.

I’m at a loss. What else should I do? Delete Turbo mod? Reload Asobo configuration? Delete control setup for the Bonaza?

Suggestions?

Well, as it seems to work okay with other aircraft I’d guess the problem is with the addon. You may be able to get a new download here - I’d be inclined to try that.

My problems seem to go farther than just with the Bonanza now. I tried using the King Aire and couldn’t get airspeed above 60. I went into the sensitivity settings and throttle 1 started at mid axis to full throttle. Throttle 2 went for lower left corner to mid axis smoothly than jumped to full throttle. Deleted the set up for the King Aire and started over. Got everything working properly but when I went to fly could not get above 60. Frustrating.

Where can I go to get answers. Flew my Grand Caravan with no problems. Haven’t tried all the others.

Thanks for your help

Could the “AFC_Bridge” program by Honeycomb be the problem. It is the only other program that I have left in the Community Folder.

Worth deleting and re-installing just to remove it from the possible causes although if all is okay on some aircraft but not on others I can’t see why.

Just to ask, do you have different profiles for each aircraft in the Options/Controls? I have a different profile for every aircraft type I fly. Of course, don’t forget to save any changes.
