yes, works great
Tested the Turbo ver. I struggle with climb performance over 10 00’…hardly any climb gain…The main advantage with turbo is that you should have the same performance up to 20 000’ Do I miss anything ?
Are you leaning correctly?
Climb 25/25 , cowl flap open ,leaning accordingly…. I would expect climb performance better than 100’/min from FL100 and above !
Try increasing your throttle - I’d be looking at 30/2600 for climbng over 10000ft. You need to use the power of the turbo.
No turbo in my installation even the aircrafts mod say so…With turbo you should maintain stable MP up to 20000ft with climb of near 1000’ pr min. Ref A Performance Bonanza - AOPA
Sorry don’t understand. Are you saying you do not have the Turbo version addon installed? If that’s the case the performance you’re quoting looks about right.
Just a thought do you have the “normal” Bonanza (msfs G36 project development) mod in your C/F? If so you need to remove it and load the Bonanza Turbo V4 mod instead, the non-turbo mod will override the turbo version.
Thanks, I need to check this !
Hey, just a quick note regarding the G36 Improvement Project.
We have just released our latest beta 3 (GitHub - TheFrett/msfs_g36_project at development) which makes the mod it’s own aircraft rather than overwriting the default Bonanza.
In theory this should allow both mods to happily co-exist.
After removing msfs G36 project development ver 6,5 it improved ! In my community folder
I’m now able to climb to 15000’ it appers some turbo are now in place !
Thanks !
Excellent.
I;m now wondering if the latest version of the modded Bonanza, as in the post above, will work alongside the turbo version? Have to test it out.
Is it Turbo mod working with SU7 ?
@CaptMatto, how do I download the 6.6 beta 3 zip file? I am just seeing the 6.5 from September 26th.
Hey I’m away from my machine at the mo, so can’t add screenshots.
If you visit our github GitHub - TheFrett/msfs_g36_project at development there is a green button in the top right where you can download the zip.
Once I get home I’ll add better instructions
Found it thank you. The green button said code, but it has the zip file in there. That’s what I needed. Thank you!
Just a reminder, this is about Robert Young’s Turbo Mod. Please keep conversations focused on that. You can link or suggest other threads to other products instead of detailing them here. Thanks.
Would you consider hosting this via Flightsim.to for those of us who manage our mods through there?
Also, what is the latest process for switching to this if I have the Improvement Mod and want to switch back and forth between them?
Yes. And last night I flew the v3 Turbo mod in SU8 Beta, and it worked fine.
I’ve taken the Robert Young Turbo Mod v3 to 25,000 feet over the Andes with no problem. Haven’t tested v4 yet, but v3 is still working great for me in SU8 Beta.
HI
If you have our latest version 0.6.6 of the improvement mod it actually sits as it’s own aircraft, you can now operate both without any issue. Robert’s mod will overwrite the default Bonanza.
