I hope so !! I’ve been really looking forward to having a bigger Boeing then the Asobo 737max8 and now the day has finally come. Hoping it will be 2024 native soon and hoping passengers will show , now or in the future .
Had to spend 1 euro to get a 14day premium gamepass so that’s a euro well spend to be able to visit the 2020 store !
I forget. Does the autopilot work properly on the Bravo 787? This is the one based on 2020? I recall there was some reason why I went back to Asobo. You have to uninstall the Asobo version, right?
May I ask , there’s 2 versions , the -8 and -9
Do both packs include the same “ goodies” and all is different is the size and liveries ?
I’m leaning towards the Bravo -9 but if you guys have any thoughts and or suggestions , I’m happy to hear what you guys/girls think
Well, I just purchased the latest $19.99 BravoAirspace 787-9 and I am afraid it does not solve my autopilot problems:
- There is no VNAV to speak of and it did not fully load my flight plane with all the altitudes.
- Even manually loading intermediate altitudes VNAV did not work.
- It does not have the 787-10 profile information on the ND.
- Just a note the checklists are incomplete or inop.
I guess because VNAV does not work from LNAV and FLC it does capture the LOC and GS.
Both the -8 and -9s are the same offer the same goodness just different liveries and engine variants, both are very good
I do like the comment , it just doesn’t make my choice easier ![]()

So it’s pure about size and liveries ?
Yes, -9 is longer and has different set of carriers as per real life
Bravo airspace nothing for you ? -8 or -9 , both with great liveries and with the -9 that I recently bought I can go in the cabin. No passengers for me unfortunately cause I’m on Xbox ( I think you need gsx for that ) but quickview cam in the cabin with engine view and listening to flight attendants messages is fun during flight.
I’ve just had 1 flight with the Bravo Airspace B789, it’s safe to say that it’s the only 787 with the correct thrust behaviour during take off at the moment. Others (B78X in MSFS2020 and MSFS2024) just lose like ~10% thrust the moment the wheels leave the ground.
Edits:
Apparently, the Horizon has the correct thrust behaviour, as well.
Basically, until MSFS2024 returns the B78X back to its great A/P behaviour before the latest external model updates, we’re much better off using the B789 by either Horizon Simulations or Bravo Airspace. The version by BravoAirspace looks quite a bit better than HorizonSim’s, imo, maybe sounds better, too.
What I like to much is that the livery aint all that shiny like it just got out of the spray cabin.
There are a few bugs that I reported to Bravo, hopefully they work on it, for example, if I ask for catering, the plane crashes within 10 seconds, annoying.
Hope fully they can make us see passengers in the future, that would make it almost complete
If you use the TOGA button on the throttles to takeoff, instead of just advancing the throttles, you will not get a premature thrust reduction.
Ah, fairpoint. I guess only the MSFS2024 version has that issue then. Iirc, there wasn’t a TO/GA button on it.
Edit: Nevermind, there’s TO/GA function on MSFS2024 B78X via Left-mouse-click+Middle-mouse-click. So, only the erratic A/T and the inability to capture ILS during APP is the issue.
QualityWings had good 787 on FSX and they initially did announce 787 for FSX, back in 2020. Pity they seem to have completely dissappeared.
