Try above. Other than it being a controller issue, I’m not sure. But it’s not an issue with this mod.

I really appreciate all the work you’ve done to make the plane more flyable. But had a CTD yesterday on short final after a 90 minute flight. Now I’m gun shy to try another one on FS Economy. What a bummer that was… I am finally somewhat enjoying FS with your mods on the C208. Thank you!
I flew it for three hours earlier today with no crashes. I have found Littlenavmap, tracking plane position, can sometimes be a source of crashes.
I suspect there are still SimConnect issues lurking about.
I use LittleNavMap all the time and never had a crash, I do use it on my secondary computer on a network.
Luckily I got everything working again and hope to make a nice journey from The Netherlands to Australia with the C208b to arrive in time for the next WU. There is one thing left for which I hope y’all know the solution. The aircraft goes slightly to the left on the ground and in the air. I’m using autopilot heading to stay straight, is there something I need to calibrate? (using keyboard to fly)
Use yaw trim & yaw damper in the air. Big single prop = big torque forces pulling the plane left.
Figured must be something like that, I’ll use that.

Thanks for the update will check it out later. A few of these things were becoming annoying so glad they’ve been fixed.
Can you explain what this means. By the Alternator switch I assume you are referring to the standby power. What are the different start up scenarios that would cause this switch to be preset differently.
In time in would be good to have persistence for all switch/control positions rather than a fixed preset.
Yes this means the standby power which is coming from the Standby Alternator in case Motor/Generator will fail.
The standby power switch is turned on before takeoff and turned off after landing according to the POH.
So when you start the game directly on the runway or in flight the switch will be set to on.
They will always persist if you already in the game.
Only the start position is affected.
That the switch is off is indicated by STBY PWR INOP annunciation.
If it is on and the Generator fails or is set to switch position TRIP the annunciation STBY PWR ON indicates that the alternator provides power.

I understand what the standby power is, how it functions and how to use it. The bit I didn’t get was the scenarios. I never start on the runway so probably never noticed it wrong in that scenario but it sounds like you fixed that and there is no change to a cold and dark load. Thanks for the explanation.
By persistence I meant per session so if I leave a switch on when I exit the aircraft and even the sim the next time I load that aircraft the switch should on rather than the default cold & dark state. Something to consider for a future update perhaps.
That’s only possible if you save the game and load it again. Then the switches should persist.
There is no possibility to save such things from the mod itself without programming a complete save mechanism. And I don’t see the big benefit from that behavior to invest so much time.
It would be a benefit to me but fair enough if you don’t want to do it.
A wish from me:
toggle the seatbelt and smoking signs with key commands or vars. I want to toggle them with my streamdeck😇
