I am no longer getting voice from atc. ex I can tune atis and the dialog is scrolling but I no longer hear the voice. I went to the General Options Sound Menu and made sure Active Spatial Sound is ON, ATC Text-to Speech Settings was set to AZURE. I’m using the Prosim737 software and Flight Model so I’m not sure if it could be causing the problem or something else.

Check your Assistance Options. Under Piloting, make sure AI Radio Communications (ATC) is set to on.
Silly questions, but are your volume knobs turned up and your audio panel set to receive?
I’ve absolutely jumped in a new airplane or an old one after a patch and the radios, which used to be on, are now off.
Well documented problem. Do a search here and you will see many posts about this. It’s a logged bug.
Switch to offline speech, you’ll have to put up with people who sound like their extremities have been clamped in a vice, but at least it works full time.
They were off but turning them on didn’t get the voice back.

You need to restart the sim for that to take effect. If Azure ATC drops out and you switch to offline ATC it won’t catch on until after a restart of the sim. Seems they’ve built the system where any ‘considerable’ or even minor change needs a full restart to take effect.
I did restart it after enabling Radio Communications.
After I got over laughing at your comment, I had to reply. I actually had the error occur the other day using offline voices, so not sure this actually eliminates the error, although it may reduce its frequency.
Really? I’ve never had a problem using them, and I do a good few hours over each weekend. Azure on the other hand, I’m lucky if I get 10 minutes, then nothing and I have to switch back to the ‘ATC children’.
I got the exact same problem. I didn’t do or moved anything. Is a problem with the sim. didn’t changed anything on settings either.
I got this problem very often too and it sucks since its at least two years old. No one could help with it until now. I even turned off all addons. Nothing worked. It just turned off and destroyed immersion from one moment to the next completely. I would do without 3 world updates if they solve this problem once and forever. But they dont want to hear too much critics cause it obvious they are not able to fix this problem. Frankly speaking i am ****** off.
And ironically very ofte the sound comes back when i turned off all engines after parking. And the hint with mute at radio in plane is in most cases useless. There is no such button in most planes. In the ATR there is none.

2024 and still have atc voices drop out! Very frustrating when it happens in the middle of an IFR flight. Game over!!
Man this issue is still occurring. I’ve noticed it’s definitely not any single aircraft either. The game devs need to seriously address this im sick of it, I’ve waited so long for them to fix this and it is only getting worse. Please Microsoft, do something, anything, ANYTHING AT ALL. It’s especially hard to know what’s happening on Xbox when atc isn’t able to be heard, and the fact I can’t hear other aircraft communicating with the tower takes away from the simulation side. Please fix this Microsoft im tired of this bs
