same here for both carenado planes… just frustrating
Thanks! I tried that today. No joy! ![]()
Best to go to caranado directly as its 3rd party a/c.

I’ve had quite a few of their ac over the years in fsx and always found their support and products top notch.
The cockpit poltergeist strikes again.
It’s not the Mooney that’s the problem, nor it being a 3rd party plane. It’s MSFS that’s the issue.
Are there any caranado default key settings built in with that ac, that conflict with msfs key setting?
Attempted a flight with live weather, with almost direct flight plan:
A320-N (with FBW mod)
LGBL - LGKJ
FL200
Even though wind was not very strong, the plane started rocking side to side mid-flight in autopilot mode. Is this the experience you get?
Recorded video here: FS2020 Nov - A320 rocking side-to-side in AP mode - YouTube
To fix it, I had to disable the autopilot and re-enable AP after the rocking subside.
Wing rocking on Mooney STOPPED when they came out with update to 1.1 from 1.0.
Now, after update 6, Asobo needs to FIX the problem they caused with the Mooney.
Does anyone know if the CTD after touching the heading adjustment and the ever present yoke will be fixed in the next update.
I assume by next update you mean Asobo’s? If so, it isn’t up to Asobo to fix. Maybe check to see if the working title guys have updated their mod.
I’ve removed all my mods until things are more stable.
Oh indeed it is. Or at least provide third parties a guide in advance of the patch if they plan to release breaking changes, which obviously they didn’t.
That’s quite an assumption. How can you be so sure whose fault it is?
Sure: the cockpits and instruments have been a constant pain - especially the glass cockpits. But it could just as well be that Carenado tried something undocumented, which used to work with previous versions and now doesn’t work anymore. Or it just maybe shoddy coding or a shortcut to make something work and it backfired.
A piece of software like this is so complex that often the repercussions of changes cannot be anticipated.
Since it was ok until the last update broke it, I would put the onus on the last updater.
Regardless, it’s up to the mod maker to make sure their mods are up to date after the latest patch. Asobo can’t do anything about that. Sure, it might take them a couple of days, but that’s the way of things.
These are some of the most uninformed replies I have seen yet. Carenado themselves as well as Indiafoxtecho have stated that the messed up manipulators are indeed Asobo’s fault and they are working to fix it. Do some research before you just toss a reply up.
They responded in this thread that they know they broke it, apologized and plan to fix it.
Still broken in Update 6 ![]()
Yes, but considering that Carenado has DECIDED to sell their PAYWARE products, and most of us have paid for these (!!!) Carenado needs to patch QUICKLY whenever it’s required! They took my money! Cannot always be the end customer who loses. They could wait to put their products on the market. Point.
Updates change things, that‘s actually the point and nature of an update. And if 3rd party devs decide to make money with that early versions which are even called „beta“ by many people they must expect that things break. The communication might be better before a release but below the line Asobo need to be able to do their work if we want them to turn the in some cases terrible state of the sim to the better.
And NO, other sims are NOT better. I currently use P3Dv5.1 and that latest update broke (or updated) many things too. Rain effect, lighting etc. Guess who will have to update it? If nothing changed nobody would need those updates.
If you ask Carenado to fix the Mooney issues they respond with we need to wait for MSFS to fix this or that.
I don’t care who has to do what, just please fix the Mooney Bravo. LOL
Thank you.
BTW, I was looking for a way to send the marketplace store an email, but they make it impossible to get customer service. I bet that a link will be provided here within minutes.
You may want to avoid third party addons with that mindset.
