This may be a stupid question, and I can’t find an answer on the forum already, but does anyone know why the Cessna 172 has both the Garmin GNS 530 and GNS 430? Don’t these do essentially the same thing? Is it just redundancy, or is there something (probably very obvious) that I’m missing?

You can crossfill flight plans (at least on the real one) and have them set on pages you want.
