Actually, before this, I hadn’t been able to get into a flight…the progress bar goes all the way to the right, then nothing…

You know how people tend to have a lot of problems on launch day … it appears today is like that, except on steroids.

Yeah if you wait 3-5 mins it will pass the “checking for updates.” I think the servers are running slow because of the influx of downloads going on right now.

Started to happen to me 10 minutes ago after i have restarted my PC. FYI Waiting 5-6 minutes solves the issue, probably servers as people wrote in here.
Same here…have rebooted multiple times and now I just get the never ending “looking for updates” message so I’m assuming it’s on their end from seeing all these posts about the server.
It does finally go on if you wait long enough… 5-6 minutes in my case. It has to be a server issue.
