Citation Longitude oscillating after 1.12.13.0 Update

Same issue here. I believe it’s independent on VR, I fly with both, and it happens both in VR and non-VR. I’ve experienced two times during my latest flight where the AP was stable for around 2-3 minutes, before going back to oscillating. Sort of dependent on wind maybe? These two calm periods were at around 30kts of wind at cruise.

It seems fine for me today, no deviation whatsoever at 45000ft! I hope it remains that way…

Noticing the issue as well, it’s frustrating to see this point up, I hope it gets resolved!

Unfortunately, update 1.12.13.0 brought back the Citation Longitude Auto Pilot side to side Oscillation at altitudes starting around 30k and gets worse up to 45k. The aircraft wing tips drop about 10-15 degrees back and forth along the flight path with the auto pilot engaged. Turn off the auto pilot, the oscillation stops. This had been fixed in an earlier update!

I had a flight at 22k ft and for the first leg it was perfectly stable. Then for the next two legs (on NAV or HDG on AP) it would oscillate side to side … after 600 miles of this I ran out of airsick bags for my passengers.

I would suggest anyone that would like a properly handling Cessna Longitude go read the following thread:

And down load the Modification here:

My plane is oscillating as well after the first waypoint in the flight plan.

Been able to narrow down the current flight Oscillation issue and agree with some fellow posts. Flying along a flight plan is okay at altitude UNTIL I hit my first waypoint. At this time, the Oscillation starts. Seems the autopilot can’t get the aircraft back on center of the flight path. The aircraft swings back and forth, almost as if it is over correcting!

Cessna Longitude is constantly swaying left & right when on AP Nav/ GPS setting. This has been since the 1.12 update. Anyone getting the same issue?

yes I’ve had the same thing when I did my first ever flight with the Longitude a couple days ago.

Yes
Stock longitude has that problèm

Download the mod and itll be fixed

I’ve just finished a flight with the longitude and it was the worst of all, nothing is working. There is the ocillation problem of course but also the Rnav which decided to take me “I don’t know where” 20nm before the approach … I tried to program another approach on the G5000, and the glide slope was never captured … too much suffering I give up! I’m tired that a plane which is in the 120€ pack still does not work normally after 6 months, it is a shame!!

Good morning. First time posting here.

I’m noticed this issue yesterday flying the Longitude KCOS-KMKE. On the return flight I tried aileron trim. Seemed to work.

Currently flying KCOS-KSEA, same issue, same work around. Only having swaying after passing a waypoint, then straight and true.

Drone view, from the upper rear, shows spoilers up on right wing, aileron down on left. (One day I’ll learn how to post a screenshot!)

Hope this helps!

And remember; blue UP, brown DOWN!

Funny how these fixes exist OUTSIDE of the updates… Why can’t we all be on the same page? It’s 2021 guys! Shouldn’t need to download third party fixes for Microsoft Products. Bill Gates, where the hell are you?

KCOS? That’s in my neck of the woods

Be thankful people are putting in their own time to address issues. I am sure this was part of the plan at release (community help). If you want a properly handling Longitude you can download here:

I let the devs know about this issue. Thanks for the feedback, screenshots, and more.

I flew the Longitude cross-country from KCPK to KANC, and only had to refuel once the entire flight. Thank you, MUCH BETTER! I did experience the roll in AP, and one time during the 8+ hour flight, all of my avionics shut completely off, which hasn’t happened to any of my aircraft since the third or fourth update that fixed this issue in GA a/c. Also, I experienced severe windshield icing, and I could not find any anti-icing controls for the windshield and had to land the a/c in exterior view.
