Yeah, that’s my review. I was wrong on the flap indicator but the rest… well I flew it again yesterday on stream and it’s so bad. Just so so bad

I watched the review by AvAngel, and I’m going to pass on this one. If they improve it, and it needs a lot of work before I consider it improved, I’ll pick it up. I have too many aircraft as it is, so my standards are much higher than they were a year ago.

That’s my thing nowadays too. I just refuse to purchase things that aren’t at least OK to begin with.

After watching available quick tour, hoping for a study level, or at least a realistic Canadair in MSFS from another 3PP, bringing also the well known Roarrrr engine sound (real captured engine sound) !!! Those flying the Manfred Jahn or Aeroworx C-47 variant, know what I mean …

In understandable language what does that mean?

“I got it. Don’t buy it. The engine sounds are wrong - they sound like turbo lawn mowers”

Would be my interpretation

You know something is not right when you need to download simple fixes from flightsim.to

Free fixes from a robust community sounds pretty good to me..glass half full perspective

Oh, don’t get me wrong. I’m very happy with the incredibly creative and helpful community sharing a wealth of files on flightsim.to. It was meant as a comment one the state of the release that it needs such a simple fix.

Can anyone do a Mod and fix rhe scale it is in VR?
The cockpit is giant…and everything is oversized..

This will require an adjustment on the 3d model since Asobo did not implement scale option

Sigh… A few years back I bought that plane in Prepar3d specifically to fly in VR, and the cockpit was completely out of scale. I see that despite this being years ago the dev didn’t fix this huge issue. I’m afraid that at the moment you’ll have no way to fix this in MSFS (until perhaps the devs allow us to manipulate scale as a parameter in the settings)>

Holy cow , so After all those years its still a problem ? Jésus , so 0 hopes the dev will fix it soon , well shame on him , he IS definetly talented but IS wasting his potential , hé even used the default da62 engine sound for his plane …

I think hé goes under the name Lagaffe on fsdevelopper wich ironically translate from french to english to something like " the oopsie" LOL , maybe WE should contact him there

Here is a new community fix from Imenes with the following modifications:
MODIFICATIONS:

  • Waterdrop: Uses the more realistic waterdrop effect from TouchingCloud
  • Default cockpit camera: Changed to a more expected zoom level that should work better for most displays/setups
  • Engine fixes: Includes the community fixes for the engine RPM and levels in the engine.cfg
  • Default livery thumbnails: Changed to better fit with other aircraft in MSFS using the default style.
