I also experienced the overall decline in the quality of the scenery from before the Canada update compared to after. Please fix this. I will be uninstalling this update until it is fixed. Thanks

You can just uninstall the photogrammetry cities separately and keep the rest of the Canada update. Of course that also means you keep the buggy rivers that are in parts worse than before. Not sure if the DEM can be uninstalled too or if that’s a server based thingy.
just did my first Toronto flight after World “UPDATE !?” photogrammetry was awful compared to pre update plus it only cover half the city. It literally slice thru toronto. Looks super ugly. they went all the way to brampthon instead of going north to north york area. whoever is in charge for photogrammetry should be fired asap.

The tower is right in front of CYTZ where it’s clearly visible from eye level. There’s no reason it should look worse than it did pre-update
My comment was mostly referring to the Mississauga terrain bug. Which was logged long time ago and is a very noticeable bug at that.

Agreed, North York should’ve got some love too, it looks horrible.
Unfortunately Roman Designs freeware pack isn’t really compatible anymore

well depending on where you are in the world people are back to work now, hopefully soon we’ll have at least SOME reply from Asobo as to why they decided to release the update without any proper QA?
Like it’s one thing that Toronto is in the state it is… but to have other cities/areas look great while others look like I may as well download a Brotherhood of Steel blimp before flying over them is insulting. Not to mention how the only custom modelled building in Toronto is a random apartment building. Not the ROM, CN Tower, Skydome, City Hall etc.
Don’t forget it’s all clearly visible in the now removed trailer too… and nobody thought “hmmm might wanna fix the PG!” while filming it.

Yes. I tried removing and re-adding the rolling cache. All it did was enclose Toronto in a fog bank. Hopefully they’ll see the emails and fix it. After waiting months for them to address the Canadian issues this is just sad.
I was so looking forward to this update and being from Toronto I could’t wait to fly downtown. Zombies have taken over the city. Disappointed

Cn Tower, Toronto: melted.
Vancouver: worse with WU11 than before WU11. Photogrammetry is bad.
Niagara falls: falls have artefacts, many bodies of water have different altitudes.
Rivers above the valleys.
The good: POIs like Banff Spring Hotel, such POIs are good.
What can I say? Disappointed.

It would have made sense for the CN tower to be a POI and modeled rather than the giant axe or Adirondack chair.

It’s not just the tower. There are a lot of buildings that look the the apocalypse and there is some really messed up scenery between Toronto Pearson and the tower. I takes literally a minute or two to see how bad this update is. Who signed off on this?

Calgary has a larger area of photogrammetry and it seems to be much more recent, but it has the same issues as Vancouver and Toronto. Very low quality, melting, post apocalyptic look. The color is also off…very grey and desaturated, zero color correction. The texture blend, where the photogrammetry ends, is terrible and immersion breaking. Hope this is fixable and will be updated.

I just bought it, but I have a black office tower with a CN tower sticking out of the top. 
Do you have photogrammetry on or off? I removed the Asobo cytz
fsimstudios just released an update 1.15.0 a few days ago and the changelog says it fixed an issue with building at bottom of CN tower with PG off. I never noticed any issue because I have PG on. If you purchased on Marketplace you’ll have to wait for the usual delays but if you purchased it elsewhere should be available now, or just turn PG on and should work too.

The fact that they decided to custom model a condo tower in Toronto and not the CN Tower is beyond me.

Here too in Quebec province / Montreal, on one side, photogrammetry expanded beyond downtown areas but on the other side, I miss the clean looking data driven procedural infrastructure in these areas that are now covered with Photogrammetry.
Cleaning the photogrammetry data manually is a huge task but perhaps a Machine Learning can clean it, reshape it and flatten the tree areas (one day)
