Cockspur Phenom 100 Master Thread

I see - will try - thanks mate!

OK - so it all works fine as long as you enter the flight plan in the sim itself and not via main menue in MSFS. That’s ok for me - just good to know I guess

Glad it worked it out!

May I just ask one last detail: It seems to me that the force you need to apply to take off (pitch up) during take off but also landing seems much more than “your average aircraft”. Did you experience a similar behaviour?

The reason it’s not tracking is because of the SUSP(end) status inside the CDI.

That likely means when you loaded the plan into MSFS from LNM, it added a Standard Instrument Departure (SID). Many SIDs have a Manual Sequence (MANSEQ) leg upon taking off. That MANSEQ must be flown manually to a certain height and heading.

Always verify in the World Map that MSFS did not add a SID or a STAR (Standard Arrival) to your plan. It does so at times.

To resume tracking using the FMS, click the Softkey marked SUSP so the green light under it extinguishes.

You still need to be within 2 dots DTK for FMS to take over. Which in your case you are not, so you would still have to hand fly or use HDG mode in AP to intercept the active leg.

In real life, Departure ATC would vector you away from the airport to your first waypoint leg.

thanks a lot for your kind explanation!

Editing them wouldn’t be that hard, but since I have the Honda, I’ll pass.

hi guys. is this the official thread for the Cockspur PH100 release on MSFS forums?

There is no official thread, but barring any other similarly titled ones it’s certainly the most active.

Possibly edit the title to “Cockspur Phenom 100 Release Thread?”

Edited the title - added a note.

just got this bird and am looking for the documentation. all i can find is a very short introduction “manual” in the documentation folder. I thought there was supposed to be more detailed one somewhere?

Also, how do you operate the EFB (phone) that is shown in the screenshots? i think its used for w&b and external objects. also open the tables and such

If the dev is reading this, annunciator on the right panel is spelled wrong, and there is no stall or stall warning in this aircraft, which is disapointing.

having a serious issue with this bird. on very first flight, about half way through, the engines stopped responding to throttle changes. The throttle handles still had full range of motion, but the engine computer system stopped responding and just went to full throttle.

As you can see in the screenshot, the engine handles are at idle, but the power is 99%. I turned off the right engine in order to not overspeed, but the left one is still doing its own thing.

That’s a new issue i havent heard of. I am the engine model developer for this plane. What are you using for your throttle hardware and bindings?

Intentional irony?

Can anyone tell me if FADEC is modelled on this plane? Furthermore, does the GCU keyboard use the new default AS1000 control pad commands like the Cirrus SR22 or are they a custom implementation? I’d love to use my RSG GCU with this plane.

Yes to both! A lot of effort went into modeling the FADEC based on aircraft performance data and the keypad works using the new key events that Working Title introduced with the SR22T.

I’ll have to pick this one up then. Thanks!

Does this plane use the Working Title Avionics or the original Asobo ones?

I will not buy it if it is using the old avionics. the WT are a must for a plane like this.
