hi everyone,
i just recently setup my control profile mappings for the cessna citation longitude aircraft and im having a little difficulty getting the mappings right for the throttle levers and the axis on them. i tried the boeing levers and they didnt do quite the job i was expecting i also have the airbus throttle levers and the levers that r in the in sim cockpit r the same ones that r the airbus type. i have trouble with the reverse thrust on them and making the axis more accurate on it. if someone could please give me some tips on how to properly assign the levers to the ones in the citation longitude so i can make it easier for myself please let me know anything thanks again.
sincerely,

The throttle axes are the easiest part, i.e. use “THROTTLE AXIS 1” and “2”.
Reverse thrust is a bit more obscure, but you can assign one of your Reverse Thrust lever controls on your quadrant to HOLD THROTTLE REVERSE THRUST. It’s kind of lame because it turns on reverse thrust for all of your engines, not just the lever you assigned it to. But you can pretend and engage all your physical levers.
So, when you land, throttle idle, touchdown, pull both of the reverse thrust levers, then move your throttles forward to dictate how much reverse thrust to apply.
You can spawn your plane on the runway with engines running and play with the reversers (i.e. let the plane move backwards and forwards) to make sure it all works.
I can’t answer that because I don’t have the Airbus levers (throttle).
I thought the @SteveKane reply above was sufficient.
Please state more clearly what you has you confused.
You ask , “should I use the Airbus levers”.
I don’t understand because we all, 98% if us simmers, don’t have a choice.
We use the throttle that we have. There is no choice.
Please reply. We want to help you.
Thinking about it…
My throttle is a single stick that move up or down through its axis.
It has no reverse thrusters.
I have it mapped to a the single throttle control in FS2020.
It moves both throttles 1 and 2 in the Longitude.
You can map one of your throttles the same or map
each throttle to 1 and 2.
Also map the reverse thrusters as stated above.
